The presenter expressed how proud she was of her ITV co-star Myleene Klass
Loose Women's Christine Lampard sent love to co-star Myleene Klass after she received an MBE earlier this week.
During Wednesday's (16th July) instalment, Coleen Nolan revealed that during the break Loose Women panellist Myleene Klass officially received her MBE. It's for her services to "women's health, miscarriage awareness and charity."
Coleen shared: "Myleene campaigns tirelessly for women's health, particularly after experiencing four miscarriages and is responsible for major changes in miscarriage care and awareness."
The audience applauded as Kelly responded: "Actually being with her on this panel and sharing her own experiences. It's not easy sharing your experiences when they're that personal and that traumatic.
"What she's been through, but coming through it and using her pain to do this and change experiences for women now forever, for history. It's amazing."
Christine Lampard attended the buzzing afterparty, and went straight to her social media to praise her co-star. In a touching tribute, she penned: "Celebrating YOU @myleeneklass MBE.
"We’re all incredibly proud of your power and passion and everything you’ve done to highlight the need for change in women’s health and how we deal with the heartache of miscarriage! We love you!!
Myleene took to her Instagram after receiving her MBE and celebrated the honour with a two-tiered cake topped with a crown, as well as decorated biscuits and a personalised cocktail menu.
She wrote: "Today I received my MBE for services to Women’s Health, Miscarriage Awareness and to charity. I am utterly overjoyed and humbled. Having my family there and our rainbow baby boy was extra magical in what has at times been a very dark journey for us all.
"The string quartet played a classical version of the Carpenters ‘I’m on top of the world’ as I walked up to receive my honour and King Charles himself pinned my medal on me whilst asking how my work with @tommys and their graded model of care is progressing.
"I told him of the bereavement leave we have just secured with @miscarriageassociation @sarahowenmp @oliviablake_mp and the fact no one would wait for three consecutive heart attacks before receiving medical intervention, yet women are expected to wait for three Miscarriages before help. He looked surprised that this was the case and then completely agreed.
"He was equally surprised to hear in this country there is NO official MC data collected which is what I’m aiming to work on next with @tommys. He expressed his wish for the number currently at 20,000 per month (an educated guess as we have no aforementioned data) to ‘hopefully come down’."
Myleene continued: "Before this and my (bafta nominated) documentary Myleene Klass: Miscarriage and Me, it did feel like no one really mentioned the dark secret of Miscarriage, the shame, the taboo, now, it’s said loudly in the walls of the Palace and around Westminster.
"For the voices that were never heard, i promise you, this is just the beginning…"
