For those of you who have been wondering about the latest developments in the divorce between Lisa Hochstein and Lenny Hochstein, this one’s for you. You’re welcome! The Real Housewives of Miami star and her ex have been waging war over their divorce since 2022. This split has to be one of the most bitter in Bravo’s history.
In November 2023, Lisa shared a photo of her bruised arm in her Instagram Story. She seemingly implied that Lenny abused her. “Didn’t want to have to share this, but I’m left with no choice,” she captioned the photo. “I’m being harassed through the court system and through ‘others’ by Lenny and it needs to stop.”
Well, Lenny reacted by filing a defamation lawsuit against Lisa. In the lawsuit, Lenny is seeking up to $100,000 in damages and his lawyer’s fees. He claimed in the court papers that Lisa sustained the bruise when she “lost her balance” on the stairs. Now Lenny has come out with some startling accusations against Lisa.
Lenny accuses Lisa of hitting him
US Weekly obtained court documents filed on May 17 as an addition to Lenny’s defamation lawsuit. In them, the plastic surgeon accused Lisa of abuse. He alleged that Lisa “consistently hit” him during their marriage.
The documents state, “There are too many times over the course of the marriage to list each instance of physical abuse by [Lisa] against [Lenny] … However, to be clear, at no point in time did [Lenny] ever strike or hit back at [Lisa] or push or initiate any physical harm to [Lisa] in any way.” The alleged abuse was one of the “reasons” that Lenny “initiated divorce proceedings.” I’m sure his mistress Katharina Mazepa was another factor.
Meanwhile, Lenny spoke with US Weekly about the recent legal allegations.“That’s the reality of it. I never hit her and she hit me countless times. Everything that she has accused me of is typically her behavior, not mine,” Lenny stated.
He also explained that he never felt in danger from Lisa. “Lisa is 100 pounds. She never hurt me,” Lenny explained. “I never felt like she was hurting me or I was an abused person. The only way she has ever hurt me are in the things she has said, not done.”
Then, Lisa’s attorney, Matthew Moore, responded to Lenny’s accusations. “Mr. Hochstein’s allegations are unfounded, and we plan to prove this is a frivolous lawsuit,” the attorney stated.
The next hearing for the battling RHOM exes is set for May 30.
