Lindsay Arnold Shares Size and Shape of Her New Breast Implants: 'I Definitely Needed a Lift' tram

Dancing with the Stars alum Lindsay Arnold is giving an intimate look into her recovery from breast augmentation — and how she’s handling the surgery while parenting her two young children.

Arnold, 31, shared a “Get ready with me” update on TikTok on Jan. 19. At three days post-surgery, she gave all the details of her augmentation, writing she’s “soo happy with my results already!”

Arnold shared she wasn’t sure about the size range — breast implants are categorized by volume in cubic centimeters, not cup size — explaining that “300 is too big, 245 felt too small. so I was like 265 and 285 kind of felt like the right fit for me.”

Her surgeon, Arnold explained, will “kind of try them on during surgery and see what looks best on your frame, what fills everything out the best.” She explains that they ended up with the 265 cc implant.

As far as how it feels, Arnold explained she wanted “very natural, very like supple, not super firm” — and also paid attention to the “profile” of the implant, which determines how “how much projection they have” — not how high they sit on the chest. “So when you're looking from the side, high profile is going to project a little bit further because the implants [are] a little more narrow and more projected out, whereas moderate plus is a little wider, not as projected,” she explained. “I did moderate plus.”

She also said she got a breast lift, where “they remove skin, they move your nipple up higher to eliminate any overhang.” While she’s left with an “anchor scar” — which she explains is around the nipple with a line extending down the bottom of your breast, with another scar that resembles the bottom of an anchor. However, she says she had “an overhang” so “I definitely needed a lift.”

Her surgeon also gave her a Galaflex mesh bra, which she explains is “is an internal mesh bra” that is “really just to help get support on the bottom, which I love so much.”

In the days following her surgery, she posted her morning routines, resting in bed with daughters Sage Jill, 4, and June Cusick, who turns 2 in May, whom she shares with her husband Samuel Lightner Cusick. The videos showed Arnold lying with special pillows to keep her knees and back elevated while her breasts remain wrapped.

In the days following her surgery, Arnold was able to prep breakfast for her kids — but shared that due to recovery restrictions, some things have been a challenge: It “only took me 10 minutes to convince June to climb out of her car seat when we got home hahaha but we did it 🙌🏼,” she posted on TikTok. “Can't wait to be able to lift my babies again!”

Overall, she was grateful for the support, saying, “I didn't really know the response I'd get when sharing this kind of thing … I've been so grateful to all of you who have just been so supportive of me doing something for me, even if you don't, like, agree with it or want to do it for yourself. I appreciate the respect that this is something that I wanted to do for myself.”
