A court date for oral arguments was reportedly set for later this month amid Leah McSweeney‘s lawsuit against Andy Cohen and the network of her former show, Real Housewives of New York. Leah starred not only on RHONY but also on Peacock’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

She’s now suing Bravo, Andy, Shed Media, Warner Bros., and several producers, accusing them of purposefully making her lose her sobriety for ratings. She also alleged that Andy consumes cocaine with certain stars.

According to Page Six, the lawsuit now has a court date concerning oral arguments, and the outlet believes it’s the first time that a cast member will argue their lawsuit against Bravo in open court. As of now, Caroline Manzo has a case that’s pending.

The publication was informed that Judge Lewis J. Liman will hear arguments for Leah’s case on October 30, regarding a motion to dismiss her suit, at a courthouse in Downtown New York.

Reportedly, the hearing will give the defense a chance to argue for the dismissal, and it will give Leah’s team the opportunity to argue against that.

In her case, Leah alleged that the show got its best ratings when a star seemed irrational, confused, and losing their grasp on reality. Her lawyers asserted that producers knew about her alcohol addiction and mental health history when she came on the show, and they saw this as a chance to mess with the star’s head to boost ratings.

Leah claimed they didn’t succeed the first time they tried to get her to drink, but she couldn’t resist during their second attempt.

In September, the judge reportedly gave Leah’s team permission to start searching for evidence in devices and private files of the defendants.

Bravo did not respond to the outlet.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville recently sued Andy over claims of sexual harassment – pointing to a video he sent to her with Kate Chastain – but Brandi recently declared on X that her attorneys dropped her as a client, telling her she doesn’t have a case.
