Larsa Pippen Justifies $2,500 Monthly Allowance for 15-Year-Old Daughter Amid Rising LA Costs tram

Larsa Pippen defended giving her teen daughter a whopping $2,500 a month in allowance.

The “Real Housewives of Miami” star confirmed the hefty stipend during the reunion Thursday, claiming Los Angeles — where 15-year-old Sophia lives with her dad Scottie Pippen — is very expensive.

“You guys understand, like, LA is super expensive. So, like, after school, she orders food or Uber or, like, you know, buys presents for her friends’ birthdays,” she said on the reunion.

Larsa also clarified that Sophia still “makes money” on her own through deals with different fashion brands.

“She literally makes money, you know?” she said.

Meanwhile, fellow “RHOM” star Kiki Barth chimed in that she gives her son a $300 monthly allowance.

“I think that one thing we can all say, you know, about Larsa, she can have many faults, but she’s a good mom, you know?” Adriana de Moura added.

Larsa explained earlier on in the season that Sophia moved to LA with her father for high school.

“Sophia is a freshman in high school. She wanted to go to school in LA this year,” she explained on a January episode of the Bravo show.

“For me, Miami is home. Like, that’s where my heart and my soul is, and Sophia loves being in LA, and so it’s OK. You know, her dad is there. She kind of goes back and forth, and she’s happy. That’s the only thing that I care about,” she shared.

Larsa and Scottie –– who finalized their divorce in 2021 –– also share three sons together: Scotty Jr., 23, Preston, 21, and Justin, 18.

“My son plays basketball with, you know, the Lakers, my 18-year-old son is being recruited by all these Ivy League schools, my other son’s in college, my daughter’s a model,” she said on a recent episode of “Bravo’s Hot Mic” podcast.

“For me, my success is based on how I’ve taken care of my kids [and] my businesses. I live a life of purpose.”
