Bachelor Nation fans first met Kit Keenan on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” and she’s continued to keep us updated with her life on social media since the show.
This week, she took to her Instagram Story to share about a scary incident that took place a couple days ago.
Over a picture of her on a plane, she wrote, “I cannot even begin to explain how last night unfolded…”
Kit then revealed that she had to be rescued after being trapped on the highway for six hours in the middle of a blizzard.
She said, “Got stuck in the middle lane on I-70 next to a giant semi praying it would not slip while we called for a tow truck to save us.”
Kit continued and shared that the blizzard hit while they were already on the road, so there was nothing they could do but wait.
“We had already been in the car for 6 hours when the blizzard started,” she said. “There was simply nothing we could do but pray and wait to be rescued.”
The Bachelor Nation star then posted a picture of the tow truck and gave a shout-out to the company that rescued them.
She stated, “Truly our guardian angel, they towed us to the point where the car had enough traction to drive to Denver. I am so grateful for the people who do this scary work every day. I don’t want to think about what would have happened without them.”
Kit ended her update with a note of caution for those driving in inclement weather.
“This is not to ask for pity or scare you, it’s to say please be safe driving in Colorado especially on I-70 and make sure your car has snow tires/chains. Just so happy to be on the plane home now ilysm 🖤,” she expressed.
We are so glad Kit is on her way home safe and sound! We also couldn’t agree more with her message and echo Kit’s sentiments to please drive safely and be prepared for any type of weather.
