Kate Middleton 'conflicted' over new plans for her children as she undergoes cancer treatment liennhi

The summer break has officially ended and children are now returning to school - including royal youngsters Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The family, along with parents Prince William and Kate Middleton, have been enjoying a peaceful vacation at their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, as well as Balmoral over the summer. However, as the holiday concludes, the Princess of Wales is likely experiencing mixed feelings about her three children's back-to-school plans amid her ongoing cancer treatment.

Royal expert Jennie Bond has suggested: "I think that, like most mums, Catherine will have conflicting emotions about the end of the school holidays."

She added: "Entertaining three children day after day - especially when there must still be days when she is feeling the effects of her cancer treatment - can't always have been easy in these past few weeks. But she and William have looked wonderfully relaxed in the few images we have seen. I'm sure they've had a lot of fun and family time."

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Jennie noted that as George, 11, Charlotte, nine, and Louis, six, settle back into their school routines, it will afford Kate some much-needed downtime. She said: "Now it's back to the early morning discipline of school uniforms, bags packed, homework done and the school run.

"It will give Catherine the chance to rest quietly when she needs it without feeling guilty that she's not with the children, and it will also give her the opportunity to continue the work that she has been doing behind-the-scenes on the campaign and projects that mean so much to her."

In March, Kate shared her cancer diagnosis with fans. In a heartfelt video, she disclosed that after abdominal surgery in January, subsequent tests revealed the presence of cancer, leading to her undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

She took a step back from public duties to focus on recovery at home, yet she thrilled supporters with appearances at high-profile events like Trooping the Colour and Wimbledon. Jennie expressed her hope that Kate can take this time for herself without any feelings of guilt.

"I hope very much that she is not feeling guilty about her prolonged absence from the public stage. I hope she realizes that the vast majority of the public completely understand that she needs time and privacy to regain her strength," she commented.
