The American star finished the ITV reality show in third place during the grand final before it emerged she'd split from her partner
JoJo Siwa had broken her silence on splitting with her now ex partner just hours after leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The American star finished the ITV reality show in third place during the grand final on Friday night (April 25). It then emerged on Saturday (April 26) that JoJo had ha split from partner Kath Ebbs.
The 21-year-old star had raised eyebrows with her closeness to Chris Hughes while they were on Celebrity Big Brother together and shortly after leaving the famous house, Kath claimed the 'Karma' singer ended their relationship at the afterparty.
Kath said in a TikTok video: "Before I could even get back to the hotel I went to the afterparty with, I guess my now ex, crazy thing to say, and was dumped in the party...
"I flew across the world to support and be there and hold that person in whatever they would be experiencing, leaving such a wild experience, and instead, I was dumped at the afterparty, with Chris in the next room.
"I was told that there are confused feelings there … and that she had realised in the house that I wasn't the person that [she] wanted to spend the foreseeable future with.
"Which has honestly been … so shocking, that I feel kind of subhuman right now. I feel incredibly humiliated and I feel a bit embarrassed."
JoJo had been seen cuddling Chris, 32, and holding his hand on 'Celebrity Big Brother', and Kath insisted everything viewers had seen "transpire" including "emotional cheating", “the over crossing of boundaries" and the “questioning” of their relationship on the show “was not fabricated.”
They added: "It took that person less than an hour to follow through. In terms of Mr. Christopher, I don't know. I have opinions, [but] I'm not gonna say them now. In terms of their relationship, that's their journey, enjoy."
Now, JoJo has addressed the end of her realtionship for the first time while appearing alongside Chris on This Morning on Monday (April 28). First, Chris was asked about the reaction since they've left the house, to which he said: "You just deal with it, you kind of have to..."
He added: "I appreciate people who have opinions. When it comes to anything in life, you have your views on stuff. We just had a great time. It was relentless. It was so relentless from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed and I always say, if me and you were best mates, Ben, and we lived together for three weeks, we would have niggles and we would fall out in that time.
"Because when you're in each other's space and you can't escape each other, it would be uncharacteristic to not have issues... But that's why we [Chris and JoJo] had each other in there and it was so lovely... It was a nice thing to have."
Cat Deeley went on to asked for 'the truth' after the mass reports, to which JoJo replied: "Honestly, when I went into the house, day one - fun. Day two - fun. Well, wasn't that fun, but day three, I was now in my own thoughts, away from everyone that I know, away from outside opinions, away from everything and I sat with myself and from that point on, I really realised things I was OK with in my life that I should have never been OK with in the first place."
Asked if she meant her relationship, the former Dance Moms star said: "So many things. That is one of them but so many things. Then I obviously wanted to hold them inside because I didn't want to air that out publicly but there were countless things that I was like, 'That's not something I should be OK with and I don't need to be OK with and I'm not happy'.
"I knew as soon as I got out I wanted to fix things in my life and make the changes I need to make. You have this experiences, it's 20 days, but it feels like four and a half years and the first thing you want to do when you get out is exactly what you need to do in your life to make it as good as you can."
She added: "I think I realised how not great things were and I were pretending they were great. It's been hard but it's been good and I'm very happy with where I am now. I'm very grateful, I'm very grateful I had you [Chris] in there for support and for comfort..."
When Ben Shephard suggested she split from her partner 'very quickly' at the wrap party, JoJo explained; "I'll be honest, that was not the plan, that was not the intention, that was not supposed to happen like that. Initially I was told the wrap party was something they didn't want to attend and then about an hour into the wrap party they decided they wanted to.
"So I was genuinely going to have a conversation before but then it just led to another. They straight up asked me if I was happy and I said 'no' and one thing led to another and that conversation did take place there."
