A few familiar faces from Bachelor Nation are helping Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson with wedding planning.
In a new interview with Bustle published on Wednesday, June 11, Graziadei, 30, revealed where he's at with wedding planning with Anderson, 27 — plus who has given them advice along the way.
"We’re in such a great place right now; we’re just still very busy," Graziadei told the outlet. "But we’re starting to figure out locations. We’re starting to figure out size. We’re trying to get an idea of when we want to have it. We met with a wedding planner to start the process."
What the Dancing with the Stars champion and his fiancée, whom he met and got engaged to during his time as The Bachelor on season 28, haven't determined is their wedding theme. But Graziadei might let Anderson take the reins on that.
“We don’t have the exact theme figured out yet. Kelsey has an idea of what she wants it to look like. I’m definitely going to her on that one, because if she’s happy, I’ll be happy," he said. "For me, I want it to be a celebration with all the people that we love, and make sure it’s something that feels like it’s for us."
Luckily, the pair have a few friends from The Bachelor franchise willing to let them pick their brains whenever they have wedding questions.
"We always try to talk to anyone that we can. We know two other couples who were right before us that have had great, successful relationships, and they're still figuring out their planning," Graziadei said. "We've talked to Charity [Lawson] and Dotun [Olubeko] as well as Zach [Shallcross] and Kaity [Biggar] to see what they're doing and where their heads are at."
Since Graziadei's interview, Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar have tied the knot. The Bachelor season 27 couple got married in Texas, on Friday, May 23. Meanwhile, Charity Lawson, who Graziadei dated on season 20 of The Bachelorette, and her fiancée Dotun Olubeko are still wedding planning, telling PEOPLE in March that they're "doing two weddings" and are "not in a significant rush."
Graziadei told Bustle that good music at his reception is a must-have, and that he has two dream artists to perform in mind.
“A country music artist I would love to have at our wedding would be Luke Combs," he shared. "I love his voice. He would do such a good job with a beautiful wedding song. If I’m not going country, my top [choice] is always John Mayer. I've been obsessed with John Mayer since I was really young. There's not one bad song from him, but 'Slow Dancing in a Burning Room' is my go-to."
Back in January, Anderson exclusively spoke with PEOPLE about wedding planning, sharing that she was "really excited" about her nuptials, but wanted to take her time with it.
"We're not getting married this year, possibly next year or the following, because we got engaged so fast, we got engaged in two months. So we want to really take our time still getting to know each other and be really serious about the wedding, and we don't want it to be a stressful thing," she said at the time. "We want to be able to enjoy the process of picking out the things that matter most to us in our wedding."
