Joe Gorga confirmed that he and his wife, Melissa Gorga, would be coming “back” to The Real Housewives of New Jersey when it resumes filming on its upcoming 15th season while attending Dolores Catania’s charity softball event earlier this week in Brooklyn, New York.
As his 19-year-old daughter, University of Delaware student Antonia Gorga, reacted to fans calling for her to join Next Gen NYC for a future season, Joe, 50, looked ahead to his Bravo return before seemingly regretting his leak.
“Everybody wants you back,” a fan yelled to Joe during the August 6 event, as seen in a video shared by Listen Honny on TikTok.
“We’re back,” Joe declared, nodding his head as he offered up a wink.
Then, after bringing his finger to his lips, Joe suggested he shouldn’t have said anything.
“And Antonia, you gotta be on Gen X,” the fan continued, referencing Next Gen NYC.
“Oh God,” she replied.
As Antonia seemed to shake off the idea, Joe agreed that she wasn’t cut out for the series in which his niece, Gia Giudice, 24, recently starred.
“No, no, no … She’s too nice,” he explained.
Following the sharing of the clip, TikTok fans weighed in on Joe’s announcement, with some suspecting that Bravo executives wouldn’t be happy about him sharing the news.
“Andy Cohen isn’t gonna like this leak,” one pointed out.
“He’s such a trouble maker lmao,” another agreed.
Others had mixed reactions to the Gorgas’ impending return.
“They can’t do this show without Gorgas,” someone wrote.
But another asked, “Why are they bringing them back? Erghhh no storylines without [Teresa Giudice] for them.”
Someone else complained about the long wait for season 15, writing, “I wish it wasn’t taking [so] long … Andy’s killing me with this.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been on pause since the conclusion of season 14 in August 2024.
