Bachelor Nation fans saw Joan Vassos and Gerry Turner look for love on the first seasons of “The Golden Bachelorette” and “The Golden Bachelor,” respectively.
Joan was also a cast member on Gerry’s season and he made a surprise visit on her season.
Since their time on the shows, the two have remained close friends and Joan is engaged to her season winner Chock Chapple.
In a recent interview on the “Two Jersey Js” podcast, Joan cleared up any rumors about the two being anything more than friends.
She said she was “not gonna comment” on any romance speculation between the two of them since both of their seasons ended, including after Gerry and his ex-wife Theresa Nist split up.
Joan shared that despite having a connection during his season, they have been nothing more than friends ever since.
She said, “We are really good friends still. We stay in touch.”
Meanwhile, Joan and Chock are also befriending many other Bachelor Nation stars, including fellow couple Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko, who they went on a double-date night with in NYC!
We love our “Golden” cast members and are so happy to see them all staying in touch and forming strong friendships off-screen.
