The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills added Jennifer Tilly as a friend of the cast this season, and while I've always understood that she'd be an asset to the show, I think if she doesn't get a diamond of her own next season, I have to stop watching entirely. For those outside of the Housewives universe, Jennifer is best known for her role in the Child's Play franchise, where she's played Tiffany Valentine in TV shows and films for over twenty years. While Jennifer's been an incredible performer throughout her career, she's found the role of a lifetime on RHOBH.
Throughout Jennifer's time on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills thus far, it's been clear that she's in a league of her own. From frank confrontations that leave the other housewives stunned to her eccentricities, watching Jennifer navigate the luxe world of RHOBH has been a privilege. While RHOBH season 14 has been a tough stretch to get through for long-time viewers of the show, Jennifer has been a bright spot in an otherwise boring season. Though there's been some lingering drama with the other housewives, Jennifer's been able to bring a fun new energy to the otherwise stale cast.
Jennifer, who's a longtime friend of Sutton Stracke, has been a breath of fresh air on a show that's been running low on oxygen.
Jennifer Brings A Kind-Hearted Energy To RHOBH
As a friend of the cast on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, Jennifer has become one of the most watchable parts of the show. Throughout the last few seasons, the drama revolving around the cast has become nearly unbearable. With Kyle Richards focused on her life after her sudden, shocking split from Mauricio Umansky, Dorit Kemsley and her divisive break from her estranged husband PK, and the incessant legal woes of Erika Giaradi all getting their share of screen time, it's felt like RHOBH has been a breeding ground for drama and half-truths.
Jennifer, who's a longtime friend of Sutton Stracke, has been a breath of fresh air on a show that's been running low on oxygen. While the drama of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills can be a juicy series, there are times when the over-dramaticized arguments, the lack of information given to viewers, and the trite storylines can feel suffocating. Jennifer's been a guest on and off since RHOBH season 10, but bringing her in as a friend has shown her kind-hearted nature even more, and the scenes she's featured in have had a refreshingly honest point of view.
Jennifer's Sense Of Humor Is Unmatched
Although she's often honest and open about her takes on situations, Jennifer's specific sense of humor has been something that I've found more refreshing than her kind nature. Bringing a levity to nearly every moment she's in, Jennifer's funny in a way the other RHOBH cast members wish they could be naturally. After decades of performing, Jennifer makes it clear that she's not trying to be funny, she just is. I love seeing her on screen interactions because she has nothing to prove to any of the other women, which leaves her open to being authentic in her wacky behavior.
Jennifer Deserves To Be A Full-Time Cast Member
She's Reviving The Show Single-Handedly
I'm so serious: Bravo needs to realize what they have in Jennifer and make her a full-time cast member on RHOBH season 15. I realize some viewers aren't enthused by Jennifer, citing a struggle with her eccentric personality or finding her behavior to be cringe, but I think Jennifer brings a unique energy to a show that desperately needs a new point of view. With her kind-hearted, vivacious personality, Jennifer's quick wit and whip-smart presence is something the series would suffer without. If The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills doesn't offer her a full-time role, I'm going to be crushed.
