Jenn Tran Discusses Speaking at the Asian Pacific Islander Beauty Summit & What It Meant to Her tram

Speaking up.

Bachelor Nation fans first met Jenn Tran on Season 28 of “The Bachelor” and then on Season 21 of “The Bachelorette,” where she was the first ever Asian American Bachelorette.

Ahead of her season premiere, Jenn spoke exclusively with Bachelor Nation about taking on that role and how she felt some pressure because she wanted to be a good role model.

Now, after her season, she’s been keeping fans up to date with her life on social media and sharing the different opportunities she’s experienced since being the Bachelorette.

This week, Jenn took to Instagram to share the exciting news that she was invited to speak at the Asian Pacific Islander Beauty Summit this year!

Alongside photos from the event, she wrote, “So honored to have been invited to speak at the second annual Asian Pacific Islander Beauty Summit. It’s moments like these that I enjoy the most about this new world I’ve been gifted in the past year.”

The former Bachelorette opened up more about her upbringing and shared why this opportunity meant so much to her.

She said, “Growing up I never had an Asian American community I could lean on or connect to outside of my own family. It’s so important to find like-minded people to connect with and to celebrate your culture with.”

Jenn continued and expressed, “Thank you to @metaprosper @houseofmbeauty @goodlight.world and @foundation for creating this opportunity for our community together and learn from each other!”

Followers loved the post and filled Jenn’s comments with words of support and encouragement for everything she’s been doing.

One fan wrote, “Such a role model thank you for being a great role model to us.”

Another fan added, “We love you Jenn, thank you for sharing your life with us !”

And one follower said, “We need more people like you representing for the little Asian girls whom grew up never seeing someone like themselves in the media. You're doing important work here and you’re killing it for the API community.”

We are so proud of Jenn and couldn’t agree more with all the love she’s been receiving.

We’re so happy seeing her thrive and can’t wait to see all the other amazing opportunities ahead for her!
