Jason Tartick Finally Opens Up About His ‘Hard’ Breakup with Influencer Kat Stickler tram

Keeping it real.

Bachelor Nation stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick got engaged in May 2021.

The two were together for over four years but announced last summer that they were ending their engagement and going their separate ways.

Earlier this year, Jason confirmed he was dating comedian and influencer Kat Stickler after months of speculation online.

The two had been going strong for a few months but recently confirmed their breakup on social media.

Jason posted a statement on his Instagram Story saying, “I am sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together. It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast.

Sometimes in life, that works out and other times it doesn’t. This time, it didn’t. Kat has brought me so much happiness and light, she brought out parts of me I never knew existed. I will forever be grateful for her and of course, sweet MK [Kat’s daughter].”

Since then, the Bachelor Nation star has stayed fairly quiet about their breakup online and how he’s feeling.

Now, Jason is opening up to E! News in an interview about how he’s doing post-breakup and what he’s looking forward to in the future.

According to the outlet, Jason stated that things are improving. He said, “Every day gets a little better, I’m doing okay… Breakups are just really hard. That’s it — they’re really hard.”

The Bachelor Nation star also revealed some of his coping mechanisms for dealing with public breakups, since this isn’t his first experience with one.

“I think just sitting in it and learning from everything… And just trying to grow to be better than you were yesterday. But it’s never easy. It’s tough,” he shared. “I think the biggest thing is not being afraid of your feelings… Meditation, grounding, all that stuff. Day by day.”
When sharing about how he’s moving on and what he’s looking forward to in the future, Jason revealed that it may include a potential move.

He said, “Just trying to pour into myself a little bit, figure out what’s next… I live in Nashville, and I have nothing tying me there anymore.”

Jason then ended with one last note of optimism, expressing, “It’s like a full reset, and an unexpected one. But hey, onward. Just figuring it out.”

We appreciate Jason’s openness and are keeping him in our thoughts as he navigates this next chapter of his life. We’re continuing to wish him all the best!
