Charlene White was forced to issue a stern warning to her Loose Women co-star following an inappropriate comment made on air.
Loose Women saw Charlene White forced to interject with a stern warning following an unsuitable comment. Charlene, joined by panellists Denise Welch, Janet Street Porter and Mariella Frostrup, were dabbling in artificial intelligence to imagine a dog in human form. The atmosphere thickened when the team decided to test it with Janet's own pooch, Badger, igniting curiosity about his human lookalike.
Janet, having impersonated her beloved Badger earlier, sparked waves of laughter from the audience and panellists alike. In the thick of the hilarity, Charlene humorously remarked: "Shall we see whether you were embarrassing yourself on National Television," ushering in the moment to unveil the AI rendition, while Denise jubilantly yelled: "We love it".
"Will you please welcome Badger," Charlene continued, and as Denise added: "Ohhh Janet, so attractive."
The studio saw a picture of Janet's terrier turned into a strapping figure with long hair and a beard, to the astonishment of all present.
Janet exclaimed "No, no, no," as she stated: "My Badger, well he's my partner's Badger and he's going to get the hump after this. He bought Badger and we share him. That person, that dog person looks like a bin man."
Charlene quickly cut in: "Janet," clearly shocked by her comment. Janet continued: "My Badger is gorgeous. My Badger's got lovely eyes, he's got eyebrows".
A taken aback Denise asked: "I think he looks nice, do you?" Charlene, however, was more concerned with addressing Janet's offensive language than discussing the AI-generated image. The host then firmly admonished Janet: "Also, we don't talk about our bin men like that Janet."
She followed up with another warning: "We definitely don't do that." Realising her error, Janet backtracked: "Oh alright, I'll take that back and I'll apologise to all refuse collectors everywhere, I am very very sorry, I am truly sorry."
As Janet continued, Charlene decisively interrupted: "I tell you what I am going to do, move on from Badger," swiftly concluding the awkward segment.
