Loose Women panellist Jane Moore has been coming to terms with relationship struggles of her own after splitting from her husband, Gary Farrow, in 2022

Loose Women's Jane Moore has opened up about her "unsettling" experience of "sofa-surfing" following the sale of her family home and her recent divorce.

Jane, who graced the first episode of Loose Women in 1999 with Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams, and Karren Brady, has been a staple on the ITV programme ever since.

Starting off as a journalist, Jane Moore is now more widely recognised for her work in broadcasting, having featured on beloved programmes such as This Morning, Question Time, and The Andrew Marr Show, not to mention her stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! last year.

Despite often dishing out relationship advice on TV, Jane has faced her own personal challenges, dealing with the fallout from her split with husband Gary Farrow in 2022, reports Belfast Live.

Celebrating her 63rd birthday today, Jane shared details of her life post-divorce, revealing that she resorted to "sofa-surfing" with the support of close friends.

In a candid piece for Platinum magazine, Jane described her temporary "nomadic" existence, saying: "After selling the family home to downsize, I put the majority of my possessions into storage and embarked on a period of nomadic sofa-surfing until I found a new abode."

Following her children's step into independence, one woman revealed how sofa-surfing took her across London's glorious abodes, saying: "Well, I say sofa-surfing. But, thanks to my generous, mostly divorced friends, who live alone and welcome company, I was offered a variety of gorgeous en-suite bedrooms in multiple London locations."

Her escapades saw her staying in some of the capital's most enviable areas including Notting Hill and King's Road in Chelsea, yet she later felt the pull to "put down roots again" and establish a home for herself.

Reflecting on her nomadic lifestyle, the previously organised individual shared: "I'm starting to feel slightly chaotic which, as a hitherto organised person, is unsettling me."

In recent developments apart from her residential journey, during an episode of the Loose Women podcast, the broadcaster spoke candidly about maintaining a friendly rapport with her ex-husband post-separation.

Jane conveyed in the discussion that she, her former spouse, and their daughters Ellie and Grace, have managed to keep things pleasant, even sharing Christmas Day festivities together.
