Plus: Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez retained his cruiserweight titles with a decision victory over Yuniel Dorticos
Uncrowned has Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Paul vs. Chavez Jr. fight card on Saturday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Internet sensation turned professional boxer Jake Paul faces his second consecutive former boxing world champion, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) won a one-sided unanimous decision over legendary former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson in November. It was Paul's fifth consecutive win since a split decision loss to Tommy Fury in 2023. Paul is targeting a cruiserweight world title shot in 2026 and has said that his team is already in discussions to challenge either Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez or Badou Jack for their respective belts.
Chavez (54-6-1, 34 KOs) is the son of legendary Mexican boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. He won the WBC middleweight title in 2011 and made three successful defenses of the belt before losing his championship to Sergio Martinez in 2012. Chavez has also fought Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs in a 22-year career, but defeat on Saturday could be the end of the road for the 39-year-old.
In the night's co-feature, the aforementioned "Zurdo" Ramirez defends his unified WBA and WBO cruiserweight titles against mandatory challenger Yuniel Dorticos.
Ramirez (47-1, 30 KOs) beat Britain's Chris Billam-Smith in November in Riyadh to unify the WBA and WBO belts. Dorticos (27-2, 25 KOs) is a former two-time cruiserweight world champion.
