ITV's Jane Moore Opens Up: Reveals Stunning Revelation After Splitting from Ex on Loose Women trucc

Loose Women star Jane Moore announced the end of her marriage to Gary Farrow in 2022, and has now opened up about their "friendly divorce" three years on from their split

Jane Moore revealed her divorce in 2022 during a live episode of Loose Women. The columnist had been "processing their separation" with ex-husband Gary Farrow before sharing the news publicly.

But in a recent chat with ITV co-host Sunetra Sarker, the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star opened up about her "friendly divorce" three years after parting ways. The 62 year old shared that she and Gary, parents to daughters Grace and Ellie, still maintain a good relationship, even having Sunday lunch together as a family.

Jane confessed her desire to preserve their friendship despite ending their romantic relationship. Gary, formerly VP Communications at Sony record label, now heads a PR agency called The Corporation Group.

He and Jane tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Claridge's Hotel in London in 2002. The Loose Women presenter offered a rare glimpse into their breakup, admitting they "pulled the rug out" from under each other, reports the Express.

When Sunetra asked, "How is it being divorced?" Jane responded: "It's interesting because anybody listening to this who has got divorced will know that by the time people know about it you would have already been processing it for some time. Then you get all of the reaction from everybody but then you've actually been dealing with it behind the scenes.

"I'm lucky that we managed to do it as amicably as possible. Obviously, there were moments where we would have some tense conversations because we were still living together and a lot of it was during lockdown."

On the Loose Women podcast, she added: "But in a way lockdown was quite good for us because you're just there together and you can have organic conversations." She acknowledged that the lockdown period wasn't "worse for her" as she delved into more details about their separation.

"We kind of withered on the vine," Jane disclosed. "We were sort of pulling the rug out over a long period together. It was a mutual thing.

"We talked at first about maybe just separating but then you think what's the point? Because at some point you've got to do all the paperwork so you might as well just jump off the cliff and do it.

"But the law changed so it became slightly easier to get divorced. You could apply online, a bit like applying for a passport."

She described the process of completing a form and her ex-partner receiving an email notification while they were still cohabiting. Speaking to the Loose Women panel, Jane shared insights into her split: "It's weird that it's out there [in public] because we've been processing it for about a year. So we're both quite private people. We had discussed it last year... it was going to happen last year. And then he fell and broke his leg, and, no, I didn't push him. Just want to put that out there. He fell and broke his leg. And obviously, then all bets are off."

"I would hope he would say I'm his best friend. And I'm keen that we don't lose that element. I have been sort of caring for him in that sense of the word. It's enabled us to sort of segue to process it first of all, and to sort of segue nicely into a really good friendship. We were still in the same house together, we are still going to do Christmas together."
