Luca Bish has hinted at the possibility of quitting Love Island, exasperatedly declaring: "I'm done."
The tension reached boiling point during a game where islanders were to complete a dare when their name came up and Luca, when prompted, opted to: "snog the islander other than your partner who shares your vibe."
To everyone's astonishment, he chose Samie Elishi. With a history of exchanged DMs pre-show and an unanswered message saga between them, the kiss sent shockwaves through the villa.
Samie's recent bombshell arrival stirred the pot, but it was Grace Jackson, Luca's current match, who was livid at witnessing the unexpected smooch, bluntly telling Luca to "shut the f**k up."
Emotionally charged, Luca abruptly got to his feet, proclaiming, "I'm gone," and left the scene, signalling the premature end of the game for the rest of the contestants, reports the Mirror.
Later, as Ekin-Su's turn sparked visible discomfort in Luca, he remarked: "And then that's it," suggesting he wanted the game wrapped up. Despite Elma's plea for another round, Luca flatly refused with a simple: "No."
Attempting to reason with him, Elma queried: "Why? " only to have Harriet highlight his clear irritation to Ronnie: "He's fuming."
Post-dare, a storming Luca announced, "Alright, I'm done, sweet, see you later."
and marched off. A concerned Harriet called after him across the garden: "Luca, where are you going? " Ignoring her, Luca continued on, leaving a cloud of uncertainty over his relationship with Grace.
In the latest episode, Luca opened up to his fellow male cast members about newcomer Samie, admitting: "It's a weird situation, Samie is my type on paper, it's probably the first bombshell I've taken an interest to but what I have with Grace is so strong."
He also hinted to Samie that her arrival might cause a "stir."
Meanwhile, Grace suspected that Samie was interested in Luca and had heard rumours about previous DMs between them. Discussing with the girls, Grace speculated, "Who do you think her type is? I have a sneaky feeling I know who it is."
After Luca and Samie chatted, Grace confronted him, but he reassured her that he wasn't planning to have his head turned, suggesting he was considering ending things with Grace.
