ITV Love Island Fans Outraged Over 'Unfair' Twist Moments Into New Episode trucc

Shakira was seen struggling with her feelings this week

Love Island viewers were left fuming during Thursday's episode of the ITV2 dating show

Love Island viewers were left fuming within minutes of the programme over one "unfair" moment.

On Wednesday, July 23, audiences witnessed the unexpected comeback of original contestants Blu and Megan. The pair had departed the villa earlier in the series, but supporters were left "baffled" when they made their return earlier this week.

This followed Shakira struggling with her emotions regarding current partner Conor, with whom she had previously shared a friendship before their romantic pairing. On Wednesday, she confessed she still harboured unresolved feelings about what had transpired between herself and former flame Harry.

Love Island fans were unimpressed just minutes into the episode

Shakira promptly ended her relationship with Conor before he was taken on a date by ex-islander Megan, leaving him utterly stunned. Megan and Blu were subsequently observed re-entering the villa, leaving the remaining islanders completely taken aback.

And this evening, Thursday July 24, Megan was spotted catching up with the girls before sharing external information with Meg and Helena. Meg enquired about Dejon and Harry and their conduct in Casa Amor

However, viewers were far from impressed with this development. The islanders are meant to have no contact with the outside world, but fans were convinced this represented a violation of that fundamental rule.

Taking to X, one viewer posted: "Them all getting this outside intel is so unfair though." Another commented: "Now Megan is an outside influence telling them about Casa which is what they're not supposed to have! This is a joke."

A third chimed in: "I hate that Megan knows all the info from the outside, like how does this makes sense." A fourth remarked: "Having Megan here, giving everyone public opinion, and ruining it for us, the viewers. Thank you producers."

Another echoed: "This is why we don't want dumped islanders back in the villa cause of s**t like this why is Megan telling them what she's seen."

The evening also saw Yasmin draw Blu aside for a chat around the Firepit to get acquainted with the returning sensation.

She told him: "I was interested to meet you because I feel like you are a good looking boy and we're kind of similar in a sense. You have this sexual energy and so do I."

Blu replied: "I like it when you stick it on, you can stick on me for sure." As their conversation took a flirtatious turn, what implications will this have for Yasmin and her partner Jamie?

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
