Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has shared a glimpse inside her stunning Essex home, Pickle Cottage, as she revealed an exciting new addition to the property on social media
TV personality and doting mum Stacey Solomon has been buzzing with excitement as she reveals the latest joyful news about life at Pickle Cottage – the abode she shares with her other half, the cheeky chappie Joe Swash. The pair, who've created heaps of happy memories at home, including tying the knot last year, are opening up their home to new adventures.
Known for her savvy business mind, Stacey's become quite the entrepreneurial success with Key Map Entertainments raking in close to a hefty £3m since it was established in 2012. But that's not all; she's also steered another venture into the limelight this February, launching Belle and Rose Ltd, which dips its toes into the world of beauty retail.
The former Loose Women panellist, no stranger to a good old Instagram update, showed off her lush Essex haven recently, where she's been sprinkling her interior magic over four joy-filled years.
Taking to Instagram, Stacey couldn't hide her delight as she penned a heartwarming message alongside a snap of her ready-to-enjoy pool: "It is time, to open Pickle Cottage pool, feel so grateful and lucky to have this in our home. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe Sunday nights might look like this."
Another snippet from Stacey's Insta-life featured a blissful moment with her youngest, Belle, as she made a splash during her second birthday celebrations and marked a significant milestone — the start of nursery, reports the Liverpool Echo.
But it's not just about poolside fun; Stacey's been hard at work creating a zen vibe in her garden. She shared a video clip showing a serene stone bowl setup telling her followers, "Setting up a little chill spot, while the kids have dinner because they want to swim all night so me and Joe will be on lifeguard duty."
The updates kept coming as Stacey posted a heartwarming clip of her son Leighton teaching little Rex to swim, which she dubbed her "favourite video of the day."
During lockdown, Stacey has been flaunting her DIY prowess, keeping fans abuzz with home makeover tales. Two bathrooms in her abode have undergone enchanting transformations into mermaid and dinosaur sanctums.
The Solomon-Swash residence, affectionately termed Pickle Cottage, boasts an impressive 2.5-acre plot.
For Joe's landmark 40th, Stacey outdid herself by crafting a bespoke 'den,' adorned with his TV memorabilia, a pool table and an inspirational quote across a wooden beam: 'We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing'. The cosy and chic aesthetic continues seamlessly into their kitchen, featuring a stunning stone wall.
Adding to the family charm, the Solomon homestead also houses a few furry friends. Just last week, Stacey took to Instagram to update fans on Teddy, the family pooch, following his grooming session at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.
Despite facing mobility issues, Teddy is spirited thanks to ongoing physiotherapy, with Stacey sharing: "Happy Tuesday. While I was working yesterday Teddy went with Leanne from @hopefieldanimalsanctuary and had a hair cut and groom, he's so happy. He's doing so well with his physio and just being the amazing boy even though he can't use his legs anymore."
The ex-X Factor sensation is a proud pet mum to two dogs, Teddy and Peanut, and a flock of five ducks. Teddy is a sprightly Cocker Spaniel, while Peanut is a charming Dachshund.
Recently, the family home has been chirping with joy as they welcomed four new chicks.
The ITV darling is also a doting mum to her brood of five: Zachary, 18, Leighton, 12, Rex, 5, Rose, 3 and Belle 2. Her first son, Zachary, was born when she was just 17, fathered by her childhood love Dean Cox.
Her second son, Leighton, was born to her then-fiancé Aaron Barnham.
