Oh là là — Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard’s baby shower is trop mignon for words!
Hubbard, 38, and her boyfriend, a doctor whose name she has not yet publicly shared, celebrated their first baby’s impending arrival with a co-ed celebration at New York City’s famed Paris Café on Saturday, October 26.
“When I went to see the space, it was just so beautiful, so open. Especially during the day, [it] has tons of windows for sunlight to pour through and feels very like indoor/outdoor,” Hubbard exclusively told Us Weekly of choosing the Manhattan brunch hotspot that most recently hosted Christian Siriano’s NYFW dinner and has been a favorite of music and screen legends like Bob Dylan, Lauren Bacall and Butch Cassidy.”
Although Hubbard was the main party planner of the pair, she wanted her boyfriend to be an important part of the milestone celebration.
“What makes my baby shower more unique is it’s a joint baby shower for his-and-hers to celebrate — not just the baby mama, but also the baby daddy,” Hubbard told Us. “I wanted my boyfriend to be celebrated and loved and supported by his friends and family as much as I am by my friends and family. So that was the main decision.”
She continued, “[It was] a gathering of friends and family, and I didn’t want to put too much pressure on it. I didn’t want a traditional baby shower where it’s me and all my girlfriends and I’m sitting in the chair opening gift time. That’s not fun for anyone. People just want to celebrate you and have fun and enjoy themselves.”
Hubbard and her partner have also met each other’s families and she’s excited for the future with more loved ones in her life.
“It’s really special to go into this new chapter of my life gaining a family,” Hubbard said. “Especially for our daughter to have cousins nearby that she gets to play with and call her family as well.”
During the baby show, surrounded by “warm colors” such as dusty rose and mauve as the décor’s color theme (with beautiful blooms by Dearest Rachel) and an eye-catching balloon display (11 feet wide by eight feet high!) by Balloon Thrill , guests noshed on hors d’oeuvres of crispy artichoke hearts, chicken Milanese bites, Old Bay fries, and smashburger sliders, all prepared by Executive Chef of Paris Cafe John DeLucie, who redesigned and reimagined the menu at the iconic brasserie.
Guests also sipped on signature cocktails at the bar, including “The Baby Mama” spicy margarita and “The Baby Daddy” negroni.
Although they didn’t play any baby shower games, Hubbard asked her nearest and dearest to fill out predictions and advice for the happy parents-to-be.
“I’m really big on making memories,” Hubbard said, adding that all her guests were able to use disposable cameras by Click Film Cameras to capture all the fun. “This moment is one of the biggest moments that is ever going to happen to me in my life, becoming a mother, and simultaneously, it’s going to be the biggest moment for [my boyfriend] in his life too. So it’s really important for me to be able to capture those memories together.”
And to satisfy a sweet tooth, the couple’s friends and family enjoyed Hubbard’s favorite “delicious” desserts by Brandon’s Donuts and Rebecca’s Cake Pops.
Several of Hubbard’s Summer House roommates also made the VIP list, including Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera and Gabby Prescod.
“I feel like this is a big moment for Summer House history,” Hubbard quipped. “We had Kyle and Amanda get married, which was a huge milestone. And now with me being pregnant and having a baby, I think it’s another milestone of like, ‘Wow, OK, we have a Summer House baby!’”
Hubbard previously announced in July that she’s having a girl and, with her due date fast approaching (between November 22–December 21), the Us Weekly Reality Star of the Year honoree is getting ready to slow down — but not her little girl.
“[I’m having a] Sagittarius girl. I’m actually scared for my boyfriend,” Hubbard joked. “I am a Leo and now we’re having a Sag girl and both of us [are] fire/fire. She is already crazy. She is a maniac. Whenever we go get an ultrasound, she’s doing flips and tricks.”
She continued, “After the baby shower is when things are going to start really slowing down. Just this week [I] got the entire nursery together. It’s done. It’s complete. I feel so good. And if I have this baby like tomorrow, I’m all set [with] everything that I need for her. I’m starting to pack my hospital bag.”

Mama to Be
Hubbard rocked an embellished crepe and lace midi dress by Costarellos, which she paired with Nicole Rose Jewelry. Julius Michael and Arturo Ortiz styled the reality TV star's hair in an elegant updo. Megan Lanoux Isentol, for her part, applied Hubbard’s glam.
She's Almost Here!
Balloon Thrill crafted a tall display for the party entrance, centered around a “Baby Cub” sign in lights.
“I love throwing events and I love throwing parties,” Hubbard gushed to Us of planning. “I can basically do it in my sleep because I did it for so many years as a publicist, so it's really easy for me to shoot a few text messages and emails out and get everything lined up. That comes very second nature to me.”
Everything's Coming up Roses
Hubbard enlisted Dearest Rachel to make elegant floral arrangements as she previously did for Winter House parties.
She'll Always Have Paris
Hubbard knew the Paris Café was the perfect venue from the moment she visited.
“When I went to see the space, it was just so beautiful,” Hubbard said. “[It was] so open, especially during the day, has tons of windows for sunlight to pour through and feels very like indoor/outdoor. It's basically like a French bistro.”
Hubbard’s boyfriend, meanwhile, “loves nothing more than the vibes of France” which made the location a perfect fit for both of them.
'Summer House' Friends
Hubbard invited several of her Summer House roommates, including Cooke, Batula, Olivera, Prescod and Miller. Lexi Wood, who is rumored to appear in the next season of the show, also made an appearance at the festivities.
Most of her Summer House costars were very helpful when filming. “It was, honestly, a tie between Paige and Ciara over the summer,” Hubbard quipped. "But then since summer, Paige has been the one that's been checking in on me the most and asking, you know, how she's always like, ‘How is Cub doing?’ She'll text me every now and then.”
She continued, “Gabby, of course, always checks in. I'm obviously really close with her, but for the most part, everyone was super supportive, so nice.”
Lucky Bump
Hubbard was toasted by her inner circle, including the Summer House crew. As for whether baby girl will appear on the show, Hubbard teased what’s to come.
“I'm not gonna live in a party house with my 8-month-old daughter, like, she's obviously not gonna live in the house,” Hubbard stated. “I will say we've filmed a lot of city scenes the last couple of years, right? And, I'm a Hamptons girl, like, I've gone out to the Hamptons almost every single summer since 2008. I will be out there, and I will also be in this, like, I'm going to be around.”
Cheers to Baby Girl!
Bartenders made signature cocktails, aptly titled “The Baby Mama” and “The Baby Daddy."
Sweet Treats
Guests nibbled on pink-frosted confections from Brandon’s Donuts and Rebecca’s Cake Pops.
Savory Nibbles
Sweets were not the only thing on the menu, as a variety of tasty savory bites were served, including passed hors d'oeuvres of crispy artichoke hearts, chicken Milanese bites, Old Bay fries and smashburger sliders.
Capturing Memories
“I have a bunch of disposable cameras from Click Film Cameras, where people can take pictures, and then I will send them back to the company and they will develop them,” she said. "And then we're not doing any games, really, but we have a bunch of note cards for all the guests to fill out predictions and advice.”
Making memories has become particularly important for the expectant mother in this new chapter.
"I'm really big on making memories,” Hubbard added. “I think that this moment is one of the biggest moments that is ever going to happen to me in my life, becoming a mother, and simultaneously, it's going to be the biggest moment for him and [my boyfriend’s] life too. So it's really important for me to be able to capture those memories together.”
