Another cast member is saying goodbye to Summer House after season 9.
“I meant to share this last week, but with everything going on, the timing didn’t feel quite right. I’ve decided not to return for another season of Summer House — I know, shocking!” Imrul Hassan wrote via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, June 18. “It was an incredible opportunity, and I truly had a lot of fun.”
“I won’t drag this out, but I want to say thank you for all your support — and for supporting my foundation as well,” he continued. “A special shoutout to my castmates for their generous donations and for helping spread the word. Overall, it was a really good experience. Would recommend.”
The news comes after other cast members announced they were leaving the Bravo show before another summer of filming begins.
On June 5, Paige DeSorboPaige DeSorbo confirmed her departure from Summer House after seven years.
“I have a little life update for you: I’ve made the decision not to return to Summer House,” Paige, 32, shared via her Instagram Stories. “Being a part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable.”
She continued, “You’ve seen me grow up over these last seven summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
As she pursues her “Giggly Squad” podcast with former Summer House costar Hannah Berner, Paige expressed gratitude to the fans who embraced her personality and habit of gossiping in bed.
“I never could’ve imagined what this journey would turn into — and how many of you would be along for the ride,” she continued. “And you haven’t seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed.”
One day later, newcomer Lexi WoodLexi Wood announced she would not be coming back for another season.
Lexi, 27, threw some shade at her ex Jesse Solomon as she confirmed her departure.
“Well … that wasn’t the summer I signed up for but it definitely taught me a lot,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “I stood up for women and for what’s right, even when it wasn’t easy and I’d do that again in a heartbeat. I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets (well … maybe one.) I’m proud of the way I handled myself, proud of what I walked away from and even prouder of what I’m walking toward. Big things are coming! Stay tuned!”
Summer House premiered in 2017 and follows a group of friends as they spend summer weekends in a Hamptons-area house. Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard remain original cast members.
