Larry, who is also well know for his role as Mick Shipman on Gavin and Stacey, dated Lady C for six months in their 20s.

She gushed over his good looks and revealed exactly what her family thought of their romance.

“When I was 27 or 28, I had a roaring affair with Larry Lamb," Lady C said.

"Larry is a great guy, he was gorgeous and is still good looking. He has impeccable manners.

"My cousin and my brother both agreed that daddy would have loved Larry.

"He was decent person, intelligent, hard working."

But their romance was shortlived and the pair ended up splitting - with Lady C admitting she didn't see things working out long-term.

"The fact he didn’t come from our world is neither here nor there. Larry, I used to say, is one of nature’s aristocrats," she said on Best Magazine's I Suddenly Single podcast.

"It quickly became apparent that Larry was not going to be an ideal husband for the long haul.”

The reality TV star admitted why dating is not on the cards for her.

She said: “I’m much too busy to be bothering with men. I don’t have the time for romance.  I don’t date. I refused to date after I left my husband. I’m not a seal jumping through a hoop in a bloody circus.”

“I made the decision [to be single] when the children were small and there would be suitors sniffing around.

"I thought I don’t want any man polluting my relationship with my children and flexing his muscles at their expense.”

The media personality admitted the last time she was in love was over 30 years.

She shared: “Last time I was in love? That would have been [with her ex who she was with for 15 years] in the 70s to the 90s.

"I saw him at Ascot about five years later and he said to me … ‘I have shown up every morning outside the Albert Memorial’ – that was where we used to go running.

"The most romantic thing he ever said - and Diana Wales used to say she envied me for having been told it – was ‘I would love you even if you were a goat’.

"Which I thought was so wonderfully romantic and so did she.”

In 2016, Lady C spilled the beans on her raunchy relationship with Larry.

Lady C, who dated the actor 38 years ago, said: "I like someone who is very bright, entertaining and fun at all times and in all locations.

"Larry was absolutely rampant, he was a very naughty boy."

The TV personality, who starred in last year's show Down Under, added to The Mirror: "He was gloriously attractive, pumping testosterone in all directions."

Earlier this month, Lady C told ITV lunchtime show Loose Women she split from the former EastEnders actor when things started to get serious.

Presenter Nadia Sawalha then asked how they me and Lady C explained: "We met at the opening of the Ritz casino and he saw me across the room ... As soon as I caught his eye, he caught mine more accurately, he came over and didn't let go.

"Larry is lovely and he's very intelligent and very focused so any way I came back from Jamaica we went to dinner. We dated for about six months."
