LOVE Island star Jack Fincham has told how he jumped off a hotel balcony in a heartbreaking suicide bid during his lowest point last year.
The reality star hit rock bottom after splashing all of his TV earnings on drugs, booze and gambling, he told The Sun.
In 2018 Jack became an overnight sensation after winning the ITV dating show with Dani Dyer.
But seven years on, the Towie star has opened up about how his addiction troubles saw him blow his £1million fortune - and nearly lose his life.
While on a break with his partner, Towie star Chloe Brockett, 24, a stay in a West Midlands country hotel took a turn for the worst.
"I’d had the world at my feet, but the addictions destroyed everything," Jack said.
At the peak of despair, Jack recalls Chloe calling an ambulance in an effort to stop the star trying to take his own life.
He said: "I ordered room service — sambucas, Prosecco, five vodkas at a time. Bang, bang, bang, done.
“I started gambling on my phone, convinced I was going to win hundreds of thousands of pounds. But then I lost my last penny — or thought I had.
"I was that off my head I hadn’t pressed the button. But I thought I had.
"I was saying, ‘I don’t want to be here any more, I’ve had enough. I am a f***ing loser’."
Jack said Chloe went downstairs and begged hotel staff to stop serving him.
He added: "She asked them to call an ambulance because she was scared I was going to kill myself."
While she was away, desperate Jack threw himself from the hotel balcony.
He went on: "I remember weighing up the options, thinking, ‘I’ve nothing left to give here. Not a penny to my name. Nothing is salvageable’.
“We were in a hillside lodge and I jumped. If I’d have dived at a different angle, I may not be here today. That is scary.”
Cops took him away for his own safety while he sobered up.
He said: “My ankle was purple and I couldn’t walk for weeks. When I saw how Liam Payne passed away, I realised it could have been me.”
Describing the shocking spiral which led up to that night last summer, the 33-year-old said he had "nothing to show" for his reality work.
He spent £40,000 in one day on blackjack online and sat in bed alone taking cocaine.
Jack added: "I had the world at my feet and I screwed it up."
