The Dancing With the Stars semi-finals are just around the corner. With the anticipated finale only a week away, here’s everything you need to know about the semi-finals, including the songs and dances each couple will perform.
Last week, Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach were eliminated from the dance competition at the end of its milestone 500th episode. When asked by co-host Julianne Hough about his experience on the show, the basketball star responded, “I had an amazing experience. Daniella is an amazing partner. I’m glad that she was here for me. The show meant so much.”
The semi-finals will kick off with a performance of Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night,” choreographed by Sasha Farber and Ezra Sosa. Fans can also look forward to a special rendition of Tate McRae’s “greedy (Acoustic),” choreographed by Mandy Moore and featuring the professional dancers set to join the DWTS LIVE 2025 Tour.
Only five couples remain in the competition: Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, and Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold. In the semi-finals, each pair will perform one ballroom dance and one Latin dance, featuring styles like the Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, and Paso Doble.

Will A Couple Be Eliminated In The DWTS Semi-Finals?
In the Dancing With the Stars semi-finals, one couple is usually eliminated, but it’s possible all five celebrities could advance to the finale. This happened last season when the semi-finals turned into a surprise non-elimination round, allowing Alyson Hannigan, Charity Lawson, Ariana Madix, Jason Mraz, and eventual winner Xochitl Gomez to compete in the finale.
Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. New episodes are available to stream on ABC.com and Hulu the next day.
