Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo's Latest Career Venture Reflects Years of Friendship & Hustle tram

Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner are booked and busy. The Summer House cast member and alum, respectively, just released their first book, continue to put out weekly podcast episodes, and just announced a brand new extension of their Giggly Squad empire — a web series.

Both Paige and Hannah took to Instagram on April 28, where they announced their newest web series titled Hannah and Paige Try New Things. In the trailer for the series, the Giggly Squad co-hosts can be seen trying on clothes, holding snakes, playing tennis (a favorite sport of Hannah's), doing acro-yoga, playing baseball, and growing closer in their friendship while being on tour for their podcast. New episodes of the series will be released on YouTube every Monday starting May 5.

Although the series might be about the friends trying new things, according to Paige in the trailer, it's really about them "trying to survive." However, they seem to be doing a great job at that, as their new book, How to Giggle, is now a New York Times best seller.

How did Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner meet?

The dynamic duo first met when Paige went in to interview at a job at a company that Hannah was working at, before joining the cast of Summer House Season 3.

Both Hannah and Paige recalled their first encounter during a November 2020 interview with The Daily Dish. "I just remember that first time immediately having great vibes with her," Hannah said. "And we have always been laughing since the day we met."
Paige added: "Hannah came up to me and I felt like it was my high school best friend who I hadn't seen in three years. She was so nice and I felt immediately comfortable and she sat with me. And I think she complimented my outfit and then ever since then I was just like, 'I'm obsessed with her.'"

In case you needed any more proof that Hannah and Paige are close, just take their word for it. Hannah and Paige appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 10, where they described their relationship to host Jimmy Fallon.

"I've never remembered any man I've ever met or any relationship, but I remember meeting Hannah," Paige said. "I remember what I was wearing."

"We're partners. We're like, in a non-sexual marriage, like most of America," Hannah added.

When did Giggly Squad launch?

Giggly Squad first debuted in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, it was an Instagram livestream hosted by Paige and Hannah, before it became a podcast.

"Paige and I have been planning on starting a show called Giggly Squad where we make fun of everything and ourselves," Hannah wrote in an Instagram post. "Because of everything going down, we decided that we are going to start it now."
The name for their podcast is derived from a comment made by their Summer House roommate Kyle Cooke during Season 4. Kyle was upset about Paige and Hannah having a side conversation during a group dinner, and referred to them as the "giggly squad," which gave them the name.

Details on the Giggly Squad tour

Although Paige and Hannah are not currently on tour, they spent so much of 2024 and 2025 on the road for their Club Giggly podcast tour. During the show, the hosts reflected on past (sometimes cringey) moments in their lives, answered questions from the audience, and brought a bit of their podcast into the world.

"We're just girls being girls for one hour a night, you know?" Paige told TODAY of the tour in September 2024.

Details on Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner's new book, How to Giggle

In addition to touring, Hannah and Paige are the authors of their new book, How to Giggle.

In How to Giggle, which is comprised of 208 pages, Paige and Hannah cover how to navigate all of life's tricky moments, like overcoming awkward situations and de-centering men from the conversation.

During an April 22 episode of Giggly Squad, Hannah and Paige marveled over the response that their book has been getting. "The girls are reading like the internet is out," Paige joked.

"You guys, the response from the book has been f--king insane," Hannah added. "If you haven't got it, I was just saying, it's No. 5 on Amazon and all books, which is crazy, because Amazon invented books."
