Bozoma Saint John quickly became a firm fan favorite upon joining RHOBH season 14. The businesswoman looks to have been blazing a trail in life before becoming a Bravo star and she’s showing no signs of slowing down. Now, she’s ringing in the New Year in Ghana.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is no stranger to featuring icons in its cast. But, in 2024, the franchise may have outdone itself by adding Bozoma into the mix. She immediately made pals with Dorit Kemsley, and she has Sutton Stracke dubbing her “the real deal.”

As if Bozoma hadn’t made it crystal clear she’s super iconic appearing as a newbie on RHOBH this year, she’s now making history.

The Bravo star hosted Ghana’s Black Gold event on December 31, 2024.

Bozoma made history according to X (Twitter) user @DustinCone1 who reports she “… called in New Years in Ghana for the FIRST time they’ve ever broadcasted it globally.”

RHOBH star reflects on ‘making history’

Taking to Instagram in December, Bozoma reflects on ringing in the New Year and making history at the same time.

The mom and entrepreneur says she can barely put what the moment means into words.

She explains: “For the first time ever, Ghana’s New Year’s Eve celebration was broadcast globally on @cnn, joining the ranks of the world’s most iconic countdowns…

“I can hardly put into words the overwhelming emotions of this moment. Gratitude fills my heart as I reflect on the journey that brought us here.”

The Bravo star thanks Andy Cohen and also shares how the “celebration carried profound personal meaning.”

“When I created @blackgold, my dream was to elevate Ghana’s New Year’s Eve experience—to blend cultural significance with luxury, crafting unforgettable moments through a curated dinner, party, and fireworks display in spaces that matter deeply to our identity. This year, we celebrated at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, a site that symbolizes resilience, freedom, and possibility,” she explains.

“…My mother marched in the historic parade on March 6, 1957, when Kwame Nkrumah declared Ghana’s independence from Great Britain. To stand beside her as we ushered in the New Year on the world stage at Nkrumah’s memorial was nothing short of divine. It is a testament to the greatness of God and the truth that everything is possible.”

“What an unbelievable way to begin 2025! Happy New Year!”

People continue to be in awe of the RHOBH star’s achievements, with one fan writing: “Bozoma Saint John taking New Year’s global from Ghana? That’s iconic! We truly don’t deserve her—what a queen!”
