Grant Ellis is used to being in front of the camera after appearing on The Bachelorette and starring on The Bachelor. After taking his engagement public with fiancée Juliana Pasquarosa following the Monday, March 24, finale of The Bachelor, Grant revealed if he’s eyeing his email for an opportunity from Dancing With the Stars.
“If it’s something that’s offered to me, then it’s something I’ll do,” Grant, 31, told Swooon in a story published on Wednesday, March 26. “If it’s not, I’m not going to be offended. But I would like to, you know?”
Juliana, 28, chimed in on the topic, revealing that Grant is a “good dancer,” unlike her lack of rhythm, she told the outlet.
It’s common for a recent Bachelor or Bachelorette lead to get offered the opportunity to compete on Dancing With the Stars. In fact, Joey Graziadei competed on DWTS season 33 right after he proposed to fiancée Kelsey Anderson on The Bachelor season 28 and took home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Former Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe, Hannah Brown and Melissa Rycroft have also won the televised dancing competition.
Whether or not Grant lands a spot on the DWTS season 34 cast, he has a lot to look forward to in his relationship with Juliana after he proposed to her on camera during the Bachelor finale. The decision came as a shock to a lot of Bachelor Nation fans, as Grant admitted to having trouble choosing between Juliana and runner-up Litia Garr.
“Juliana, since our first night playing the piano and getting to know you, we’ve always had a connection,” Grant told Juliana as he began his proposal speech. “Through this whole journey, you’ve always been someone that has inspired me … I truly believe you are somebody who is my best friend. … I’ll be there for you as your man, as your friend, as your partner. Juliana, will you marry me?”
After Juliana said, “Yes,” Grant placed the Neil Lane engagement ring on her wedding finger.
The couple made their public debut during the After the Final Rose special, and announced they decided to move to Boston together to be closer to Juliana’s family.
“I love the dynamic that her town has and that her family has, and I want to be close to that,” Grant said about their move, as they’re entering the apartment hunting phase. “I’m going to have my house in Houston, but I’m also going to come over there and we’re going to make it work.”
One day later, Juliana shared that they’re not rushing to the altar because they want to enjoy their pre-marriage milestones first.
“I just feel like we want to live life together for a minute,” she told People at the time. “A wedding is a big thing, and there’s so many people we have to meet. I want them all to have an opportunity to see [Grant], see us, and just have it make sense to everybody.”
When “the time is right,” Grant and Juliana plan to exchange their vows in Italy.
“When the time is right, we’re going to handle it and we’re going to talk about it,” Grant shared, adding, “and we’re going to have a really fun wedding.”
