Next Gen NYC is Bravo’s newest foray into young twenty-somethings trying to make it in the big city. However, this show has a twist. Half of the cast has already starred on Bravo because their parents are Bravolebs. Case in point, Gia Giudice. She practically grew up on Real Housewives of New Jersey, as her mom is Teresa Giudice. But now she’s grown and ready to share her story elsewhere. So, why did she decide to do it on Next Gen NYC?
Brooks Marks got Gia Giudice involved on Next Gen NYC
Not only is Gia on the show, but Brooks Marks from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is as well. The other Bravo crew starring alongside them are Real Housewives of Atlanta kids Ariana Biermann and Riley Burruss. This is no doubt making longtime Bravo fans feel quite old.
With Gia starring in this new series, she isn’t going off our screens anytime soon, despite the rumors she was fired from the network. So, just how did she get involved in this show? And why did she decide to join? Gia spilled all the tea to Parade.
She explained, “Brooks brought me the opportunity. My family was already in the public eye, but I just took this as an avenue for me to show myself outside of the Real Housewives.”
And she and Brooks do have a genuine friendship. In Episode 2 of the show, the two sat down with their moms, Teresa and RHOSLC star Meredith Marks, to goss on the drama within the group. Brooks was happy to have Gia by his side as she helped him learn how to navigate all the haters online.
While this show is not Real Housewives, it’s probably still just as real. Gia dished, “The amount of people that ask that about Jersey because of the crazy fights that have happened on that show, but it really is [real]. Everything is real, all of our actions, all of our words. Everything is really real.” For real.
Next Gen NYC airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
