On Thursday, April 10, some of the 'Real Housewives of New York's' followers claimed her appearance was touched up in her latest Instagram photo

Ramona Singer has been called out by her followers for posting an unnaturally youthful-looking photo of herself on her social media, and now FaceTune is weighing in.

Singer, 68, posted an Instagram photo on Thursday, April 10, alongside friends Steven LaRochelle and Mo Kanafani in Palm Beach, Fla. “Just another great night in Palm Beach,” she captioned the photo.

But after the Real Housewives of New York City alum uploaded the picture, some fans and followers suggested the photo had been digitally edited, from her forehead and cheeks to her nose.

The photo went viral and was covered by numerous outlets. FaceTune, a popular photo editing app, then weighed in on the discourse on Friday, April 11.

“girl why'd you have to drag me into this,” read the FaceTune response, reposting Page Six's article with an un-retouched photo of the reality star beside the youthful photo she posted on Instagram.

Despite the cheeky comment from FaceTune, Singer denied claims that she edited the photo. One Instagram user wrote, “I'm screaming with this Edit Ramona.”

But she replied, “well I didn't edit. I guess my gorgeous gay friends did lol.”

Other followers wrote that she resembled her daughter, Avery Singer, 29. “You look like Avery when she was 1,” one user wrote.

“I love you Ramona.... but come on!!! This makes you look younger than Avery 😂😂😂,” another added.

“Ramona you look like a newborn,” read another comment.

Another jokingly referred to Singer, as “Ramona Benjamin Button,” a reference to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which follows a character who ages backward.

Singer isn’t the only former Housewives star to get called out by FaceTune. In June 2022, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes posted an Instagram photo of her flawless skin.

The account for the app commented “We are loving you ❤️.” But Leakes, 57, replied, “Um this is a professional photo shoot. Stop the madness.”
