Although it was one of the most dramatic to date, thanks to couples like Ross and Sacha, Alex and Holly, Polly and Adam, and Amy and Luke, series nine of Married At First Sight UK has gone down in the show's history as one of the least successful to date, with no couples actually making it in the real world.
Despite this, bosses didn't hang around, as filming for the 10th series started in February, and is now in full swing! Whilst we wait for the show to land on E4 later this year, relationship expert and all-round MAFS Queen Mel Schilling has spoken about the series 10 cast for the first time.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK at the BAFTAs in May, Mel said: "We're in the middle of filming it right now, it's all happening," before describing the series as "authentic, relatable, surprising".
She later added: "I have several favourites, I do. It's like choosing a favourite child but I do. I do have quite a few favourites this year."

When is it on TV?
There's no official start date for the 2025 series of MAFS UK, but with filming only just starting in mid-February, we imagine it won't be until later in the year.
The 2024 series kicked off on Monday 16th September.
When did filming start?
Filming for the 10th series of Married At First Sight UK kicked off in mid-February, with Mel Schilling writing on Instagram at the time: 'Let’s go! MAFS UK 2025 🇬🇧'. (sic)
Understandably, fans of the award-winning dating show were quick to comment on Mel's post, with many expressing their excitement for the next instalment of love and drama.
One wrote: 'AHHHHHH OMG 😍 EXCITING!! Also looking stunning ❤️❤️ x', with another adding: 'Our favourite time of the year 🙌❤️ Can’t wait'. A third wrote: 'Yayy!! It's coming back on😍❤️ love it! Can't wait'. (sic)

As well as Mel Schilling returning, it's understood Charlene Douglas and Paul C Brunson will also be back to match this year's brides and grooms and give their expert advice throughout the experiment.
