EXCLUSIVE: Tasha Ghouri reveals her family rallied around her over Christmas when her relationship with Andrew Le Page was coming to an end liennhi

Tasha Ghouri has shared how her family became her pillar of support during her breakup with her boyfriend of two years, Andrew Le Page.

The beauty, 26, and Andrew, 29, reportedly ended their relationship just weeks after she wrapped up her run on the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking to MailOnline, Tasha opened up about navigating the heartbreak over Christmas, crediting her family for helping her find joy during the tough time.

She said: 'I'll be honest over Christmas I wanted to spend time with my family.

'I just enjoyed the eating and the food. I went and saw my dad in Spain and then my brother flew over from Australia, but for me, it was about family time.'

It was reported earlier this week that she and Andrew split and since then Tasha has been spotted on the celebrity dating app, Raya, as she embarks on a 30-date Strictly tour around the country.

She explained that she has moved on from the romance and talking about her future, the Love Island star said: 'I've got an exciting year ahead, my memoir is coming out and that's my next focus and, yeah, I'm really looking forward to what's to come. I feel like it's going to be an exciting journey.'

Tasha and Andrew met on the dating show in 2022 and have since moved in together and share a dog, Luna. 

He supported her at the Strictly live shows where she made it to the final.

A source close to the couple said: 'Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly.

'She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by. Now she's going off on tour, and she's going to be away from Andrew again.

'They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she's pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.'

A friend close to Tasha confirmed to the Sun that the pair had 'hit a rocky patch.'

Tasha's Raya profile describes her as a 'Northern girly' who is 'always smiling and laughing'.

The account featured snaps of her in a red dress which she had originally posted on her Instagram in December as she attended a Christmas party.

Ahead of going on Strictly, she had said of the infamous curse: 'Andrew, to me, is the hottest man on this whole planet.

'Me and Andrew trust each other 100 per cent. It's not a make-or-break for us. We're going to breeze through this because we're going to marry each other one day, you know?

'It doesn't bother us at all. We didn't have a discussion about 'the Strictly curse' because we trust each other. It doesn't play on our mind.'

The Strictly Curse sees contestants taking part in the gruelling show split from their partners, which has impacted dozens of relationships over the years.

Elsewhere, Tasha broke her silence following her unexpected split from Andrew, as she prepares for the upcoming UK Strictly Come Dancing tour.

The star, who reached the 2024 final with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, expressed her excitement about reuniting with him and the rest of her Strictly castmates for the tour.

Marking her first interview since her split, she told the Mirror: 'Honestly I have had the best time on Strictly.

 

Tasha and Andrew had a rocky road on Love Island, with Andrew famously engaging in a steamy liaison with Casa Amor girl Coco Lodge which the pair almost didn't recover from

'Doing the Strictly tour in front of thousands of people, I cannot wait to do that. Just have fun and smile and connect with people. 

'That's what I really love doing and to get to dance with Aljaz again and all the other pros. It is really magical and I can't wait to dance again.'

On January 1, Tasha posted love hearts on a photograph posted on Instagram by Andrew with the caption: '2025 let's get it.'

Tasha made history in 2022 as she became the first deaf contestant to take part in Love Island.

After leaving the show together after getting to the final Andrew and Tasha soon moved in with each other in London and last year bought a house together which they were then renovating.

When she was announced for Strictly Tasha revealed how Andrew reacted when he learned she would be partnered with Slovenian hunk Aljaž.

Speaking with much confidence, the model told how her then boyfriend of two years had 'no worries at all' and was 'super-happy' at the pairing as he could see what a 'great partnership' she has with Aljaž.

Tasha and Aljaž had even gone on a double date with their respective partners at the time.

Tasha shared back in September 2024: 'Aljaz is so happy with his wife [Janette Manrara] and we went on a double date last night, and had a lovely dinner with their beautiful daughter, Lyra. Andrew's been so supportive through it all.'

After the Strictly final before Christmas Tasha broke her silence after missing out on the Glitterball trophy to Chris McCausland.

She impressed the judges during the final show with Anton Du Beke declaring she was the most talented competitor ever to appear in the series.
