She rose to fame on TOWIE as one of the show’s more outspoken cast members, but these days Ferne McCann is living her best, more calmer life as mum to daughters, Sunday, seven, and Finty, one, and with her fiancé Lorri Haines.
Ferne and Lorri are yet to walk down the aisle, instead opting for a long engagement, and not only is a wedding on the cards, but it seems the reality star could also have plans to add to her brood.
Speaking exclusively to Closer, Ferne has opened up about being a ‘girl mum’ and admitted she would love to have another daughter.

‘So many of my friends who've got boys are like, “Oh, they're just so loving. They're so needy,” and I feel like I'd quite like that element, but no, I just see myself as a girl mum. I know how to be a girl,’ she told us.
‘I'm looking forward to every chapter, from their heartbreaks to their celebrations and everything in between. I'm a girl's girl, I love having that feminine energy, so yeah, if we were to have another, I would love another girl. As long as they're healthy. I definitely see myself as a girl mum.’

Speaking about her daughters’ sisterly bond, Ferne continued, ‘I say to Sunday all the time, “She's going to be your best friend and you don't even know it.”
‘You're literally gonna hang out and you don't think it now, because there is that massive age gap, but I think as Finty is getting older and just seeing… not the gap close, because obviously Finty’s nearly two and Sunday's nearly eight, but how Sunday's taken to being a big sister has just been so lovely to watch.’
Ferne’s journey into parenthood was caught on camera on her fly-on-the-wall shows Ferne McCann: First Time Mum and Ferne McCann: My Family & Me and although she quit My Family & Me last year, she’s admitted she wouldn’t rule out more reality TV in the future.

‘I could never see myself turning my back on TV. I love being part of a production, I love making TV. I love it. I’ve not lost that entertainer, where I love to perform and work with a production, whether it’s a cooking show or a challenge,’ she explained.
‘We’ve got some exciting projects coming up, which are different to reality, but projects that are more aligned with who I am now. I can never imagine my life without cameras. I would never say never to another family reality show, but obviously last year I decided not to because of the children, and I still stand by that - I’m enjoying living out our personal family lives without the cameras. Sharing the odd bit on socials of course, but it feels quite nice to have that break.’
