The controversial TOWIE star left the show this time last year
The start of a new series of TOWIE (we're on series 35, if you can believe that) always leaves us thinking about the TOWIE lads and ladies we've lost along the way.
While the drama flag is being waved firmly by the likes of Junaid Ahmed, Freddie Bentley and Dani Imbert these days, it wasn't too long ago that one TOWIE queen ruled the roost as head TOWIE diva on the streets of Brentwood – we're of course talking about the somewhat controversial reality star, Chloe Brockett.
Remember her? The former best mate of Ella Rae Wise, Courtney Green, Chloe Meadows, Amber Turner, Junaid Ahmed... well, you get the idea. She's now loved up with Love Island star Jack Fincham, but is very much off the telly right now.
Chloe was at the forefront of almost of all the drama that dominated the show between 2019 and 2023; she decided to step away from the series at the start of 2024 following an altercation with co-star Roman Hackett, and while we didn't support every decision Chloe made on and off the show, we did always have a soft spot for her. Still do.
Which is why we're more than intrigued by her most recent Instagram Q&A where she's seemingly teased a reality television return for 2025, just weeks before another round of Celebrity Big Brother is set to dominate our evenings.
In one of her now legendary Instagram Q&As, Chloe was asked, 'Will you ever go back to reality TV? I think you and Jack would make great TV!'
Chloe's response set off alarm bells at Closer HQ when she replied, 'Yes 100%! I have a meeting next week about something really exciting and different.'
Obviously, that's not a huge amount to go on, but if our reality telly maths is correct, ITV should be in final talks with this year's Celebrity Big Brother line-up right about now ahead of the show's return this spring and, to be fair, this isn't the first time Chloe's been rumoured for the show.
Also, are the lights behind her in this photo not giving serious neon Big Brother vibes. At first we thought she might be having an actual meeting in the Big Brother house; then we zoomed in and noticed the Shake Shack logo, so no.
But still, Celebrity Big Brother or not, Chloe is getting herself back out there and on the box and always a win in our books.
Closer caught up with Miss Brockett around this time last year do get the tea on her TOWIE departure and she did more than spill (can you see why we like her so much?).
'It was a decision that I made,' Chloe exclusively revealed to Closer as she discussed her exit from the ITV reality series. 'I know some news outlets have reported that I was sacked; that is not true, categorically not true. I left, it was my decision.'
Everybody assumed that Chlo was booted from the show after she allegedly threw glasses at Roman during an altercation but it turns out that she was only temporarily suspended.
'I was scheduled to go back after Bali, to be honest,' she told us. 'I haven’t told anyone that, but I was, and I decided not to. I just felt like I was at a place in my life where I don’t want any drama. I don’t want the agg.'
