Every Time Family Members Appeared on the ‘Bachelor’ Franchise: Kelsey Anderson, Her Dad Mark and More tram

While it isn’t very common, some family members have managed to appear on the Bachelor franchise.

Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark Anderson, competed on the first season of The Golden Bachelorette after Kelsey got engaged to Joey Graziadei on season 28 of The Bachelor. While Mark got sent home by Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos before hometown dates, Kelsey explained that she had a “great time” watching her dad on TV — aside from watching him “kissing somebody.”

“It’s funny, but I mean, I’m sure he had the same experience watching me on The Bachelor. So it’s all fair,” she told Us Weekly in October 2024, adding that sharing a similar dating experience with her dad was “really cool” for her. “Joey and my dad were talking about it for a while, just, like, the relationships you build. It’s cute for us to all have something else to bond over.”

Aside from Kelsey and her dad, Emily and Haley Ferguson also made headlines during Ben Higgins’ season 20 of The Bachelor as the first twins to ever appear in the franchise. (Both sisters went on to appear in Bachelor in Paradise.)

“It was the greatest experience of our life,” Emily told Yahoo Entertainment in January 2024. “Looking back on it, I wouldn’t have changed any of it for the world and as weird as it sounds, it definitely made Haley and I a lot closer.”

Despite getting kicked off, Matt praised his mom for going on the show.

“It was exciting, because my mom doesn’t really put herself out there like that. And I think that as people get older, they lose hope in the ‘finding love’ aspect of life,” Matt shared with Today in March 2024. “For her to be that energized was inspiring for me. It’s never too late to find somebody.”
