Both took to social media to share their love for one another, with Louise setting up a special surprise for her younger brother.

Louise decorated her home with candles and pages from her book hanging from the ceiling on strings, capturing the sentimental moment in a video shared on Instagram.

In the clip, she asked Sam if he had read the acknowledgements in her book - revealing that she had written a heartfelt dedication to him.

Louis said: "You've read a little bit of my book. Have you read the acknowledgements? I wrote a thank you to you," catching Sam off guard.

As he began reading the passage aloud, he was visibly moved by the touching words.

He read: "My brother Sam, for visiting the hospital so regularly and for bringing your tremendous humour, for distracting me so thoroughly with chat about work and world domination.

"For knowing me better than anyone else because we share a mother and a father and a hell of a lot of DNA.

"Even though our lives have had an interesting interwoven nature over the years, sending us on separate journeys and then bringing us back together, we still share so many silly similarities. We are truly cut from the same cloth.

"Thank you for popping your head over the fence when I was camping out in the garden every day during the winter.

"Thank you for asking me how I was doing on repeat, even if I could only respond with the word 'anxious' 10,000 times. It must have been so scary for you to see your sister drift away."

As Sam continued reading, he became emotional, touched by his sister’s words.

He went on: "I feel like we missed out on a fair share of precious memories together, but the good news is that we have all the time in the world to create loads more going forward.

"Boy, oh boy, will we appreciate them now. The real fun is only just beginning. Thank you for being the best fun uncle to Leo and making such a big effort lately. Nothing makes me happier.

"Thank you for taking on the role of the older sibling. I know I've always been the boss and controlling one, but I feel very safe and comfortable in your hands.

"I feel very grateful to be able to pass the baton for you to take the lead. The skies are the limit."

A teary-eyed Sam admitted, "I didn’t even think I was going to cry."

Louise, who has been open about her struggles with health issues in recent years, captioned the emotional video: "Happy Valentine’s Day. Celebrating a different kind of love this morning. A love of books. A love of acknowledging // thanking people. A love of family. A love of having awkward conversations."

The touching moment between the siblings comes after Sam’s high-profile breakup with former Love Island star Zara.

Speaking on Love Island’s The Morning After podcast with Indiyah Polack and Amy Hart this week, Sam suggested Zara may have been responsible for the split.

He explained that Louise has always gotten on well with his girlfriends.

Sam continued: “Most of the time when we break up, it's my fault and she'll ask, ‘WHAT have you done?’

“And I’m like, ‘it's not even me!’”

Although he didn’t explicitly name Zara, his comments appeared to imply that their split wasn’t his fault.

Sam and Zara have both been keeping busy since their shock break-up.

The I'm A Celebrity champ has been working on multiple TV projects including the Love Island podcast, whilst Zara has been working on a new documentary for BBC3 in Thailand.

Speaking on another recent episode of the pod, he revealed how much he'd love to do Love Island.

"I have never been in the villa, but I would LOVE TOO!" Sam revealed.

CHEATING SHOCK

The former couple first started dating in May 2019.

Just 16 months later Zara confessed to having a fling with music exec Brahim Fourad while taking part in The X Factor: Celebrity.

Zara and Brahim crossed paths when she signed up to the singing show in October 2019.

Sam then ended their 16-month relationship after getting wind of what happened, after The Sun exclusively revealed a year late she had been unfaithful.

They got back together after Zara publicly apologised on Made In Chelsea.

The pair then lived together in Sam's house where they would often post loved up selfies, comedy reels and pictures of their home transformation.

Last month a devastated Sam broke his silence on his "tough" split with Zara.

On Sam and Pete Wicks's Staying Relevant podcast, Pete asked him about his "bad Christmas".

He said: "What's been going on?"

Sam admits: "It was tough. It’s been a tough month. A real tough month."

He also jokes: "This is not a good time to be going bald either."

Pete says he wasn't sure if Sam would be in a fit enough state to do the podcast, telling him: "I didn't know if we were gonna be here or not."

A source lifted the lid on the reasons behind the split, telling Mail Online: "Sam and Zara have ended their relationship.

"It's been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways; they still care and have a lot of love for each other.

"But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025.

"There has been no scandal or fallout between them, it's just the result of a difficult year, where they both had to spend a lot of time focused on their own projects."
