EAMONN Holmes is said to have fallen out with his son Niall after he takes Ruth Langsford side amid the TV star's bitter divorce.
Eamonn, 65, began dating Katie Alexander, 43, in mid-2024 following his split from his wife of 14 years, Ruth, 65.
Ruth is understood to be desperate to finalise her divorce to Eamonn but girlfriend Katie has backed Eamonn for him to fight for what is his when working out the terms of their divorce.
As the divorce gets increasingly messy, Eamonn and Ruth's kids have been dragged into the middle of it.
The former couple share a son together, Jack, 23, while Eamonn has three children from a previous marriage, Declan, 36, Rebecca, 34, and Niall, 32.
Eamonn has now reportedly had a "terrible falling out" with Niall over a year ago and the pair haven't spoken since.
Niall is said to have sided with his stepmum Ruth over his own dad.
"Niall and Eamonn had a massive fall-out, there was a huge row following his split from Ruth. Things were said between them that cannot be unsaid. It must be heartbreaking for Eamonn," a source told the Mail.
‘Eamonn accused him of siding with Ruth while Niall hit back about his dad’s behaviour. This all happened more than a year ago and they haven’t spoken since. Niall adores Ruth."
Eamonn's eldest children Declan and Rebecca are still close to their dad but has been "caught in the cross-fire".
While Eamonn and Ruth's son Jack is said to have sided with his mum, with the Loose Women star having set Jack up in a flat in Salford.
A source told the publication that Jack and Eamonn's relationship is still "strained".
Moment Ruth Langsford takes a shock swipe at ex Eamonn Holmes live on Loose Women
The Sun reached out to a rep for Eamonn and Ruth.
Previously, Ruth had hired a top divorce lawyer in order for her to come up trumps in the split deal and is thought to have been fighting to ensure she gets to keep their £3.6million six-bed Surrey home.
But Eamonn, who is living in a small flat close to the GB News studios, is understood to be dragging his feet.
The divorcing Loose Women star has been granted a severance of joint tenancy of the six-bed pile they bought in 2014.
The move, revealed in public documents, means that if Ruth were to die her share of the house in Weybridge, Surrey, would not go to her former spouse Eamonn, with whom she shares son Jack.
Wheelchair-bound Eamonn is thought to have told pals that he'd discovered a life beyond Ruth and is loving being able to have Katie on his arm.
Last month, Katie broke her silence on speculation the pair were engaged.
After recently flashing her pearly white smile, The Sun was also first to report how Eamonn is "smitten" with his new partner.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Eamonn is smitten with Katie’s appearance.
“She looks immaculate on his arm and he’s a very proud man.”
