EXCLUSIVE: Amy Kenyon and Luke Debono are one of the latest couples to marry on E4's Married At First Sight and it seems like things are going well for the pair as they go on their honeymoon

Newlyweds Amy Kenyon and Luke Debono are taking their romance up a notch on the reality series Married At First Sight.

The couple, who recently exchanged vows on the popular E4 programme, will be seen by viewers embarking on their honeymoon in tonight's episode. Despite Amy's initial hesitation about Luke, confessing he gave her the "ick" during their lavish wedding, it seems she's warming up to her new husband.

In this evening's show, Luke whisks Amy away to an animal sanctuary where they feed tiny turtles and mingle with flamingos, a gesture that leaves Amy thoroughly charmed. She remarks, "Luke arranging the date today is really thoughtful. I am absolutely in my element, it's literally my idea of a dream date."

Luke shares his joy with the audience, saying, "Watching her with the animals makes me so happy because I see that passion. I think I love the animals for making her feel like that."

Later, Amy admits to enjoying Luke's company and feeling like a 'true' couple as they stroll around. She praises the outing, saying, "It's nice to see he's someone that gets a buzz out of how happy it makes me. It's been twelve out of ten date from me," reports the Mirror.

Before the show aired, Amy candidly discussed her parents' ideal partner for her, stating, "I think my parents would love me to be with someone classy, somebody with manners and somebody that treats me like a gentleman... treats me like a princess!"

Luke pulled out the stops on his date

Recent revelations have surfaced that the 27-year-old wedding planner, Peggy Rose, previously went on a series of dates with 2023 MAFS UK participant, Arthur Poremba, before she "disappeared".

An insider disclosed to The Sun: "Amy and Arthur had been messaging each other for a little while. She then disappeared for three months to go on the show and then all of a sudden reappeared one day and he went 'Where the f*** did you go?'"

"She said she couldn't tell him so he asked her if she'd been on Married At First Sight and she confirmed she had."

Married At First Sight airs Mondays-Thursdays at 9pm on E4
