The 24-year-old Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin star ended up finishing in third place, behind runner-up Ilona Maher and this year's champion, Joey Graziadei.
Fans took to social media to vent their outrage, with many opining that Chandler got a raw deal.
While several people expressed their strong disagreement, several blamed the surprisingly low placing on racism and 'misogynoir.'
Several fans noted that Chandler and her dance partner, Brandon Armstrong, earned nothing but perfect scores all evening, which put them ahead of both Ilona and Joey.
However, the final placings are decided based on a split of judge scores and viewer votes, meaning that enough fans at home voted for Joey and Ilona to override Chandler and Brandon's perfect scores from the judges.

Another fan wondered if people hadn't even watched Chandler's performance.
'Uhm EXCUSE ME. CHANDLER IN THIRD PLACE. Not ok... what is wrong with people? Did you not watch her dance!?'
One viewer joked that 'The "WHAT" my wife yelled out at dancing with the stars when Chandler Kinney got 3rd was up there with my bad beat reactions during a game.'
Some fans attributed Chandler's relatively low ranking to racism from voters at home.
