DWTS Alum Shares Heartfelt Update on Motherhood Journey: ‘It’ll Be Perfect’ trucc

Former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Chrishell Stause would love to be a mother, and she has been working toward achieving that dream. Unfortunately, the journey has not been as easy as she may have hoped it would be.

However, she’s not giving up. During a recent podcast appearance, Stause acknowledged that she and her partner may need to change their vision about how they build a family together.

Stause explained, “Because if time ends up being like, too late, then we’ll do something else… Either way, it’ll be perfect.” She added, “I’m just the poster child for go with, try it, but try and always embrace it and be happy with what you’re given.”

Chrishell Stause Admitted the Process Hasn’t Been Easy

During the February 20 episode of Nick Viall’s podcast “The Viall Files,” Stause opened up about married life and her vision for their future. Stause and Australian singer G Flip have been married since May 2023, and the DWTS alum said, “Married life is so good.”

Viall asked Stause, “Five years from now, what would be your dream come true?”

Stause hesitated a moment as she formulated her reply. “Five years from now. I mean, I have to be open to different possibilities because I know that I will be with G and we’ll be happy and we’ll have to make whatever happens work.”

She then acknowledged, “But we’ve had some difficulties.” Stause noted that she and her partner are trying to start a family, but “It’s just not the easiest.”

“Without getting too in the weeds, it’s a process. And I think that I’m trying to learn and stay open to, it may look different than what we’re trying for currently,” Stause explained.

The DWTS Alum Will Take All the ‘Luck’ She Can Get

The “Selling Sunset” star explained she wasn’t answering with very specific information for a few reasons, including, “In my position, if it doesn’t happen the way I want it to happen, I don’t want it to look like a failure in any way.”

“I’ll get my mind around the new,” she added, meaning that whatever the family dynamic looks like for Stause and her partner down the road, she’ll embrace it.

Stause also explained, “So basically we went through the process of having a donor with eggs and all of that stuff and it just didn’t work out. And for a few reasons. And so then going forward and figuring out what we have to do, it’s a whole thing. But basically, a lot of things have to go right.”

She quipped, “I am of a certain age, you guys, I don’t know if you know.” That would seem to suggest that Stause and her partner have been trying to pursue a path where Stause carries a baby for them, although the pieces haven’t fallen into place quite right yet.

Viall wished the couple luck, and Stause replied, “I’ll take it. We need it. I’ll take some luck.”

Podcast listeners sent Stause lots of love and support after she opened up about the couple’s journey to parenthood.

One fan commented on Instagram, “Love Chrishell and G so much! Hoping the best outcome for your sweet family!”

“Love Chrishell and G ❤️ .. They will get their baby and they will be amazing parents, 🥹” echoed another fan.

Someone else added, “❤️❤️ You will both be incredible parents xx.”
