When we last saw the ladies of Married to Medicine at the Season 10 Quad Webb and Dr. Simone Whitmore had forged a path forward to rebuild their friendship. Unfortunately, all of that positive energy disappeared once the cameras went down.
In a sneak peek of the M2M Season 11 premiere, Dr. Simone opened up about the off-screen drama that unfolded with Quad, and she explained why they were no longer on speaking terms once the cameras started rolling. Here we go again.
Simone ‘threw in the towel’ on her friendship with Quad
Bravo’s The Daily Dish shared a preview of the Season 11 premiere, we see Dr. Simone and her husband planning a Freaknik-themed party to honor their 35th college reunion. When arranging the guest list, Simone explained why Quad didn’t make the cut.
“Quad and I left New York in a good place. We were talking, we were communicating, and then comments start flowing on social media,” Simone explained. “People say they don’t like how I treat Quad. She buys in to what these strangers are saying.”
Elsewhere in Atlanta, Quad was telling Dr. Heavenly Kimes her side of the story. During the Season 10 reunion, Simone referenced Quad’s niece who tragically drowned in her pool. Quad questioned Simone’s “humanity” for bringing it up, and they’ve been on the outs ever since.
“Simone needs to be accountable and say, ‘You know what, I was dead wrong,'” Quad explained.
The likelihood of that happening seems slim to none based on Dr. Simone’s confessional. She admitted that she “threw in the towel” on her friendship with Quad and wasn’t willing to make the first move. However, her husband offered a small glimmer of hope.
“At this time, that’s how Simone feels, but I do believe that she can come around. I think she will come around,” Cecil Whitmore suggested.
Married to Medicine Season 11 premieres on November 24 at 9/8c on Bravo.
