Dr. Heavenly Kimes apologized to Quad Webb after watching back the most recently aired episode of Married to Medicine.
Heavenly called out Quad’s friendship with cast newbie, Phaedra Parks, during a cast trip to Napa Valley. Heavenly, along with Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, and Toya Bush-Harris decided to confront Quad over her supposed victim mentality and stand-offish behavior within the group. Quad admitted that she didn’t feel emotionally connected with the other ladies, which prompted a fiery response from Heavenly.
The dentist said — “I still haven’t heard from you after I met with you and Phaedra, right? But then Phaedra tells me that she’s not bringing you on the trip. She was very adamant and she said that she told you she wasn’t gonna bring you on this trip.”
Phaedra had explained that she was hesitant to invite Quad on the trip because of her ornery attitude.
“I don’t need you to bring me around Phaedra Parks,” Quad told cameras. “Park it. Ms. Parks, let’s remember how you got in the group … on some real s–t.”
Heavenly went on, claiming that Quad only reached out to her after learning that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum was not inviting her on the cast getaway.
“It seems like you’re using me, you’re using that sisterhood and all of that, right? And then when this lady [Parks] put you down, then you call me,” she said.
Quad, who joined the season late due to a stalled contract negotiation, teased in real time that her days on M2M might be numbered. She offered a a cryptic social media response after a fan told her that the show wasn’t the same without her.
Quad wrote — “Well, you all will be able to enjoy me for [two] more episodes only this season. Sad, but oh so true.”
Many users assumed that Quad was being pushed off the show, similar to the experience of the show’s creator, Mariah Huq, who was ostracized by the group and ultimately departed the show.
Heavenly didn’t back down from her position during a YouTube rehash of the December 10 episode with producer, Carlos King. King called out how the cast treated Quad on the trip, but Heavenly continued to defend her actions.
On Wednesday, Heavenly backtracked and issued a public apology to her co-star.
“I just watched episode 7…. I feel soo bad,” Heavenly tweeted. “It was horrible. Damn. I want to cry. I’m soo sorry [Quad]. This was too much; you did not deserve this!”
