Some fans feel Dr. Heavenly Kimes goes too far on “Married to Medicine.”
“Married to Medicine” star Dr. Heavenly Kimes is no stranger to controversy and receiving backlash from the fans. Some aren’t happy with her actions during the latest season. As we reported, Heavenly invited Apollo Nida to the couples’ trip. Although he told her his estranged wife Sherien Copes wouldn’t be attending, Phaedra Parks was done when she saw Apollo and Sherien joining the group in Key West, Florida. It didn’t take long before it went left. Sherien and Apollo confronted Phaedra for bringing a man named Cheick to the trip as her date. Phaedra and Cheick met at Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford‘s speed dating event. Upon meeting, Cheick told Phaedra that he knew Apollo and his wife.
Phaedra didn’t hold back how she felt about Heavenly and the others once the couples’ trip drama began. She said Sherien was Apollo’s mistress while she was pregnant with their youngest. So she came to the conclusion that Heavenly and the other OGs are mean girls. She departed the trip early via a private jet.
Some fans have also called out Heavenly for her treatment of Sweet Tea. Heavenly and Dr. Jackie Walters were the two who talked Tea into joining the show. Heavenly later told her YouTube subscribers that she just wanted Sweet Tea on the show for laughs. And she also wanted Quad Webb to read her.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes apologized for the offensive comments she made on YouTube.
Now Heavenly is under fire for the comments she made recently about Dr. Gregory Lunceford and King’s almost altercation.
She told her YouTube subscribers, “So when you have a conversation with somebody and somebody gets upset and it goes to the left, most men, real men not gay men, not ***** men, you know the guys that are kind of soft, but real men are going to feel like…straight men are going to feel like if you tell my wife to shut the **** up I’ma have a problem with it.”
Fans questioned why gay men weren’t considered “real men” in Heavenly’s eyes.
She apologized after the backlash rolled in.
Heavenly wrote on X, “I’m with you. I apologize it was an ignorant statement. I’m a grown *** woman I can admit when I’m wrong. I didn’t mean it that way.”
