There has been quite a bit happening in the world of Married to Medicine this season. One of the most talked about moments came when Dr. Gregory Lunceford got into a spat with Quad Webb‘s new boyfriend, King. Naturally, this has left Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford in a weird spot. Now, Dr. Gregory is speaking out about his treatment, and Quad is reflecting on her past with him.
A recent episode of Married to Medicine found Dr. Greg being confronted by King. This came after King felt that Dr. G had overstepped his boundaries with a statement he made toward Quad. After that, there was talk of Greg pressing charges against Quad’s new beau.
Sweet Tea and Greg were recently interviewed, and the topic of the aftermath of the fight came up. Luckily, The Neighborhood Talk was able to capture what he said. According to Greg, “I didn’t press charges, but I’m very pissed about the situation.”
He went on, “Somebody charging you, you’re gonna be real pissed about it. I don’t take bullying. I don’t feel like it’s cool. The guys said they were going to handle it, and that didn’t work out. I really don’t know how to feel about it, but I can’t stay locked in one emotional state. I’m trying to move on.”
The interviewer then asked if he felt like the men from the Married to Medicine group chose King over him. Greg responded, “In some ways, I do. Some ways I do, yeah.”
Sweet Tea chimed in and said, “What I’m really glad of is that we’re able to provide you a platform to speak your truth because the show is about the women. The men don’t get paid. They’re pretty much the supporting cast members.”
“These guys went and embraced this guy like he’s been around for a million years. They know my character. Like, I would go and try to blatantly disrespect anyone like that, and then I would take it to violence. That dude brought a lot of negative energy, yet they’re trying to hear his side. I’m like, ‘What the f***, man,'” Greg added.
He then said, “As a man, I think we don’t get as sensitive about stuff like that, but the whole thing was some bullsh**, all of them fellas. They didn’t really back me up the way I would have thought, but we did leave the island, so I wasn’t there to give my side of the story, but they already knew my side of the story. They’ve known me for years.”
Regarding the season as a whole, Dr. G says there have been other instances where he didn’t feel supported by the other men in the cast.
In other Married to Medicine news, Quad recently took to X to reflect on her time with Dr. Greg. She did so by posting a clip of Sweet Tea and Greg having an argument where he appeared to be gaslighting her.
Quad’s post read, “Tonight’s epi was by far triggering. God knows, I do not miss those days. Regardless of what LaTeasha has said about me to the public my heart honestly goes out to her. It is abundantly clear nothing has changed with his behavior. Only the woman. The cycle continues.”
In the clip, Greg can be seen saying to Sweet Tea, “You can be so naive sometimes.”
From there, they begin a discussion about something he did to her and how he needs to “really calm down.” They then walk off, but Greg can be heard saying, “This your fault. Don’t say sh** to make me go off.”
Sweet Tea then defends herself and says she was stating her opinion. Greg responds, “Your opinion makes no sense.”
Things get worse as she seemingly tries to calm him, but he continues, “I don’t know who you think you’re talking to. Stop saying stupid stuff, and you won’t get the reaction you don’t want. It’s your fault.”
Fans can watch the saga continue on Married to Medicine on Sunday nights.
