Diplo has nothing to hide as he goes into 2025.

During his virtual appearance on New Year's Eve Live alongside Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, the DJ and music producer, 46, got extremely candid with the CNN co-hosts.

“I’m so curious. What’s the most conventional place that you’ve done LSD?” Cohen, 56, asked Diplo, to which the DJ replied, laughing: “Right now.”

As Cohen heard Diplo’s answer, he appeared shocked and asked, “Right now?! Oh my God, hold on! Please tell me you’re tripping right now?”

“Yeah,” Diplo replied, at some point in the conversation adding, “I’m not even lying!”

It’s not the first time Diplo has admitted to using LSD. In 2023, he revealed that he ran the Los Angeles Marathon on LSD.

In a May 2023 interview with Esquire, Diplo explained that he frequently uses the drug, a hallucinogenic also known as acid that intensifies emotions, thoughts and sensory perception.

“I do a lot of LSD, but I’m not tripping and looking at the stars going ‘Whaaa?’” he told the publication. “I micro-dose it, maybe a little more.”

Meanwhile, Cohen, 56, and Cooper, 57, were enjoying tequila as the night went on.

Approximately a mere five minutes into the broadcast, Cohen grabbed his bottle of tequila and two glasses.

“We are going to do this at the top of every hour,” he explained to those watching at home. “And we want you to join us.”

He continued, “That’s the fun of New Year's Eve… Anderson doesn’t drink. This is our virtual celebration, whether you are at home alone or with family or with one other person, we are all here together. This is an incredible community that we've built up together over these eight years, and so I am excited.”
