Dancing With the Stars’ Alan Bersten Hints He’s ‘Enjoying Life’ With Emma Slater After Kiss tram

Dancing With the Stars pro Alan Bersten is shedding insight into his connection with Emma Slater after sending the internet into a frenzy with their kiss.

“Did it go viral?” Bersten, 30, exclusively asked Us Weekly of the moment, while promoting his partnership with Cesar. “We’re just enjoying life.”

Bersten confessed he was “a little bit” surprised that his and Slater’s onstage smooch — which occurred during the DWTS tour’s final live show in Rosemont, Illinois, earlier this month — gained traction online.

“It was an incredible tour and I’m sad that it came to an end,” he said. “But also there are so many good moments.”

While Bersten and Slater, 36, have yet to set the record straight about their relationship status, a source exclusively told Us last year that the dancing duo were “hooking up.” The insider noted that the pair were a private couple but their romance was “not new” and “ongoing.” Slater, for her part, was previously married to fellow DWTS pro Sasha Farber. The exes were married for four years before divorcing in 2023.

Bersten, for his part, gushed over his bond with his castmates — which strengthened thanks to the close quarters of life on tour.

“When you’re stuck on the bus with each other, you become best friends. It was really nice, this tour again, the show was incredible,” Bersten said. “The audience was incredible. I feel like it’s a different audience than we’ve had in the past with just the resurgence of the show. So the energy was just incredible.”

As he adjusts back into his routine, Bersten will be spending his time with dog Jeff — and is partnering with Cesar in support of the brand’s latest microwavable dog food.

“One thing about being a dog dad is I want to make sure that Jeff has everything, the best quality. So being able to give him food that has real chicken, real ingredients, real vegetables, it makes me feel a lot safer and a lot better,” he said. “But also they’re convenient. I put it in the microwave for 10 seconds and you just come out with something that you’re not afraid to give to your dog.”

The dog food brand, who is launching the Cesar Warm Bowls, is also hosting a “Cesar Spin” sweepstakes.

“Everyone can do it. It’s on TikTok and on Instagram and there’s going to be prizes. They have a chance to win a $3,000 gift card, some fun experiences for their pup and a one-year supply of Cesar Warm Bowls,” Bersten said. “So, listen, not only do you get a dance with your best friend, you also get a chance to win something.”
