The news is out as Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt can’t keep their dancing feet still. Both stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will appear as celebrity contestants on Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. The news was announced via the reunion with host Nick Viall, noting that “most of the cast auditioned.”
Will Whitney Leavitt or Jen Affleck make it farther in Dancing with the Stars?
Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars will show Jen and Whitney pitted against one another to try and win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. The judges will be waiting to critique their every move. Both women are pretty popular on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but if I have to bet on just one to win, it would be Whitney. The once-ousted MomToker has an uncanny ability to keep rising to any occasion. Whitney is cunning and unable to take accountability for her bad actions. However, these personality traits can also translate well to the dance floor.
Jen seems to fly under the radar a bit more. The new mom might have some moves up her sleeves, but I don’t think it will be enough to beat her friend.
Do either have a chance to win Dancing with the Stars?
Along with Jen and Whitney, a few other stars were also named for Season 34. Two of their competitors are Robert Irwin and Alix Earle. Now, the Australian hottie knows a thing or two about hard work, and I imagine he is in amazing shape (IYKYK). Jen and Whitney are mere influencers and might not have the stamina to last long. Most seasons of Dancing with the Stars have featured some notable contestants, including Olympic athletes. So while Jen and Whitney might bring some cute outfits, I don’t see them walking away as champions. But good luck, ladies!
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is available to stream on Hulu. The show streams on Disney+ in the UK.
