Craig Conover's "travels" have officially begun! Following his split from Summer House's Paige DeSorbo, the Southern Charm cast member stated that he was looking forward to traveling all across the country and meeting with fans — well, that era has finally started.
The Sewing Down South business owner took to his Instagram feed on Sunday, Jan. 12, where he posted a video filled with clips of him at the Salt Lake City Home Show, which took place over the weekend. It was here where he got interviewed, spoke on the Design Stage, and mingled with the crowd at the show. But, during his time off, he was also able to have fun in Salt Lake City, too. In clips posted to the Reel, Craig revealed that he attended a hockey game and even hit the slopes during his downtime.
He then took to the caption of the post, where he shared that attending these shows is such a highlight for him as he heads to more cities (he's teased that his 2025 will include several upcoming home shows). "Looking forward to a full year traveling with Market Place Events," he wrote in the caption of the post. "One of my favorite things is meeting people like you at home shows all across the country. (And at my stores obviously). Keep being awesome world."
Craig really had fun exploring all of the snowy winter weather that Salt Lake City has to offer. The Charleston resident took to his Instagram Story on Sunday, where she posted a clip of him snowboarding on some stark white snow. Craig can seriously shred.
Craig Conover teases future plans with Sewing Down South
Craig's travels to home shows across the nation are just part of his big plans for Sewing Down South. In a Dec. 6 interview with The Daily Dish, Craig revealed that he's at an "influx point" with the pillow business.
"I think we're like in this influx point where we're at like 25 employees and we gotta figure out how to continue," he said. "We're used to it being small and it's growing rapidly, which is great, but it's still just me, Jerry, and Amanda. I mean, we have 25 employees, but there's just three of us at the management level so [I] gotta figure it out."
Craig Conover reflects on his breakup with Paige DeSorbo
In his first official statement following their breakup (which was first confirmed on Dec. 30), Craig revealed how he's processing it on his own time. Craig took to his Instagram Story on Jan. 7, where he shared that the breakup was "unexpected" but he's now getting adjusted to his "new normal."
"I am still processing everything, which is normal," he explained. "I mean, [it was a] 3-year relationship; it's your best friend who you talk to every day, and then they're just gone. So one day, I'll be able to talk more on it, but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages. It has been really nice to read them and it's just life. I have to take my own advice that I give when I go around and I speak at these home shows that no one's ever not better off after a breakup, but now I guess I got to practice what I preach and believe it and truly have faith in God that everything happens for a reason. But I love you all and I'll see everyone on my travels this January. We got a lot coming up."
