Lucy Fallon was spotted filming scenes for Coronation Street in Manchester on Monday.
The actress, 28, returned to her role as journalist Bethany Platt on the ITV1 soap opera at the beginning of this year and now her character has teamed up with lawyer Dee Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) to find out what has happened to Lauren Bolton.
The former waitress (Cait Fitton) has not been seen since February and fan favourite Roy Cropper (David Neilson) has been imprisoned after being charged with her murder.
But in new pictures, Bethany and Dee Dee are seen at a derelict pub and Joel Deering (Calum Lill) looks panic-stricken when he notices them.
The solicitor looks over his shoulder to see Bethany and his on/off girlfriend standing there, but they don't appear to notice him and he kicks his way through a fence.

In one shot , Bethany and Dee Dee seem deep in thought as they ponder what has been going on.
But in another, in what appeared to be a moment of relaxation between, takes, Lucy smiled down at her phone as she and her co-star donned red coats.
